References for New Upper Mills Studios

The photo session at Upper Mills, was a 'try out', it being a 'local' photo studio, in relation to where I live? And the photo model I was working with, in relation to where she had been working in the area prior to it?

Which we may use again at sometime, when she is, will be working in this part of the country again?

Glenn advised on studio sets, access to, facilities, available at the time, allowed one to go with the flow?

Re location, best to do a ground 'recon' beforehand, if possible, to establish where the building is?

In relation to 'local' roads, traffic, surrounding buildings, access, as postcodes are general 'guides'.

Upper mills is a charming studio, with plenty of space and sets to shoot on.

Plenty of parking, plenty of props and very easy to find. I will certainly be back x

Glenn invited me to the studio, had a fab time was only my second time in a studio. He was patient, informative and made it a very enjoyable expierence. Went above and beyond when the model was running late to arrange another. Look foward to the next session.

Had my studio day at upper mills yesterday and it was great!! So many rooms with different set ups and even an attic! Glenn was so helpful and was more than happy to help with anything, right up to bringing me my clothes!! The studio is very spacious and has good props and lots of different backdrops etc. was a great day, thanks for everything Glenn. Would highly recommend working with glen and the studio!

An Eye for Beauty

My first shoot at Upper Mills was a great success, not least because of the quiet welcome and excellent lighting support from Glenn, who made sure that all the shots worked right across the sets - charcoal and white backgrounds, boudoir and attic. The model for the studio day was delightful and my four hour shoot either side of lunch was something I look forward to repeating. It turned out to be the hottest day of the year but Glenn's care and attention and a good working relationship with Hannah meant it was a day to enjoy and remember. I will be back - the studio is highly recommended. Thank you.

Had a great shoot at Upper Mills on Sunday. We rather took over the place, but Glen was very relaxed and helpful, the space is great and we're very pleased with the results. Time to book the next session!

I had my first shoot at Upper Mills Studio yesterday and was very happy to shoot there. There is plenty of convenient parking, the studio is nice and spacious. Glenn is very helpful and offering cups of tea and coffee! I had a shoot with Anna-belle yesterday and she was really good. A really enjoyable day and this will be the first of many visits there. Had a great shoot at Upper Mills Studio today. The studio is very well equipped with plenty of space and a range of different rooms/sets to shoot in. Glenn was on hand to provide whatever assistance was required with lighting etc. Overall a very professional and friendly studio that I would definitely recommend and will certainly be using again.

Second shoot at Upper Mills, and even better than the first. There's SO many great sets: backdrop, window, boudoir and an absolutely outstanding loft. Full set of kit that Glenn helps you set up when you need it. I will be shooting here again.

Had my second shoot at Upper Mills Studios with Autumn Sapphire (aka Kirsty). Parking is easy and convenient, the studios are spacious and Glenn is very accommodating and helpful, his prices are very reasonable and both model and photographer enjoyed the shoot. Highly recommended.

I had my second shoot at Upper Mills Studios, using 2 of the 3 rooms set up for shoots - the grey room and white room. Glen was very friendly and helpful in setting up the equipment. Being close to Bristol this studio is easily accessible for me and I hope to make use this great facility in the future.

Just had my first visit to Upper Mills Studios for a shoot with Jo Paul. The studios are spacious, the bedroom set is excellent and Glenn is a really helpful guy. I don't think that it will be my last visit! Highly recommended.

Had a two hour shoot with Tayla at Upper Mills. This is an excellent studio with 3 rooms/sets to work in. Very well equipped with the latest Bowens studio flash heads plus a variety of light modifiers. Very easy to find being just a few miles north of M5 J13, and with adequate parking.

Glenn is also very helpful in ensuring every thing is set up and working to your satisfaction. Certainly will intend to use this studio again

The studio is well equiped and heated every thing is as “on the packet” to take advantage of all of it a day would not be long enough.

The safe parking must be a consideratio.

Glenn could not have been more helpful and welcomeing and his coffee drinkable. Thoroughly recommended

I have shot at Upper Mills on two occasions a great up and coming studio. good facilities and more importantly well run by Glen who is very helpfull and will offer good advice if needed. i will look forward to using the studio again soon.
