References for New Upper Mills Studios

Had a great time on 2 February with Glenn at his studio. Tea served on arrival warm and cosy for my shoot with Helen. Great assistance from Glenn. Studio is a short drive from my home so hope to use Upper Mills again.

I worked at the fantastic Upper Mills Studios again the other day and had such an enjoyable, productive couple of days! I had organised two studio days at the studio and was very lucky to be fully booked on both days! Glenn was very attentive, professional and always made sure that the model and photographer were happy and comfortable- with plenty of refreshments and cups of tea/coffee throughout the day.

Glenn was very helpful with lighting and helped the photographers when they needed guidance with the lighting or backdrops. I really enjoy working at the studio as its very easy to get to and find, parking is a breeze and it is very well supervised, so a very safe place for a model to work- especialley if working with a photographer for the first time or one without references. Highly recommended, Helen x

Very chilly day for a shoot but Glenn had the heater going and the main studio was nice and comfortable, thank you. I didn't dare ask my model to go and shoot in the outer rooms but will definitely try that on a warmer day!

Everything worked well, Glenn is friendly, helpful and discreet, there when you need him and even provided non-stop Bowie music for several hours. :-)

Good to have a studio like this relatively close to me, would certainly recommend it.

I had a great shoot with Carla Monaco at Upper Mills Studios yesterday. The studio is well equiped and Glenn is very helpful with setting up and ensuring everything run smoothly. It was lovely to have tea and music during the morning and everything contributed to a great shoot. Glenn is an excellent host, he runs a great studio and I have already booked a future session at Upper Mills. I highly recommend Upper Mill Studios to models and photographers alike.

Had a great first shoot yesterday at Upper Mill Studio with Tinkerbella. Glenn was very helpful and accommodating, kept the music and coffee working. Also helped me when one of my speedlight mounts failed to show up. (I chose to use my own gear rather than higher quality gear on offer at the studio just so I could get used to my new stuff).

I will be shooting there again.

Amazing I've worked at Glenn's Studio before but I held my first studio day here. which was a sell out. Glenn is a great host who was on hand with a spare camera for one of my Photographers who dropped his Camera and to help if it was needed. Tea and coffee was endless for the photographers. the studio is clean dry and warm with plenty of room to work. I've already booked in another Studio day 19th March which I've already sold 6 hours.

Glenn is polite friendly professional and a all round great guy. I look forward to next March and another amazing Studio day.

Today was a studio day with Carla Monica. This was my first time in the new studio at Upper Mills, just next door to the old studio. Glenn was a perfect host, offering teas and coffee. There are a number of sets that could be used with a number of decorated corners and window which can be used as a back drop to the pictures. I was working with a white back drop with a back light which gave a very effect bright halo effect surronding the model. I have had a number of shoots hosted by Glenn at Upper Mills a number of times and would highly recommend the studio to any photographer or model.

I had 3 shoots over a weekend at the studio and love it here. The studio has a number of different back drops to shoot against as well as a lovely window and boudoir set. Glen is always accommodating and keeps the coffee and tea flowing. There is a lovely atmosphere in the place and I recommend it for both new and experienced photographers.

So this morning I had my first ever studio shoot here with the delightful Amy.

Glenn's studio is absolutely perfect, great lighting setups and props. Also great taste in music!!! I can't recommend Glenn or the studio enough and for future local shoots with ANY model, he's going to be my go-to studio from here on.

Fantastic stuff, Glenn, thank you for a brilliant shoot this morning, not to mention the coffee and tunes :)

Recently had a shoot with Amzykat at the studio;great place to work;lots of sets and ideas;Great host and coffee maker.Glenn helped with some superb lighting set ups.Hopefully get down that way again.

Wow one happy Myk G Glen came to shoot one of my models and use my studio on her model day and what a gent. Such a pleasure to have him here and obviously a pro photographer very respectful to the model as well as the studio equipment and lots of fun to have around as well. Had a really good shoot at the Studio with Amzycat. Glenn was on site and was the perfect host. He helped with the lighting setups and guided me to achieve the shots I was aiming for. Great studio, great value. 100% recommended.

i had an afternoon shooting at upper new mills studio....it was a lovely studio with plenty of scope to create some fab images ..i particularly loved the windows to shoot in with the light that comes through... glenn the owner was very welcoming and helped me in with my hoard of bags and supplied plenty of coffee for me during the day xxxx

had a brilliant shoot with glenn in this studio i walked in and i must say i was very impressed, everything was set up nicely, it was very warm and cosey, lots of space and room to move, even had something like a secret wardrobe in that place! Ha! overall, beautiful studio back drops were good and overall very tidy. love this studio highly recommended!

Just has a great morning in the studio. The first time I have been here since it was "next door". Small but perfectly formed about covers it. A couple of Semi-permanent back drops, a variety of wall decorations, a boudoir corner, plenty of natural light and all the electrical gubbins you could wish for.

Glenn was welcoming, fired up the coffee machine (kettle) then retired to his own sanctum but was within screaming distance if help were needed.

Petty much all one could wish for. Not the nearest studio to me but possibly one I shall be using a lot more from now on.

Had the pleasure of working at Glen's studio on Saturday. I was shooting with Neil. The studio is a great place with loads of room with a good selection of lights and kit. Glen made me feel welcome and he has a relaxed approach to how the studio works. I really enjoyed myself .I'm going to running a studio day later in the year So look forward to working with Glen to get it set up.

Highly recommended to both new and experienced models and photographers.

I shot for the first time here as part of a studio day. Glenn was very friendly and provided me with assistance and advice throughout the shoot when I needed it. The studio has all sorts of options, backgrounds etc and is a great environment to work in.

I'd definitely recommend shooting here and I'm sure I'll be back soon!

I had a very full but enjoyable studio day on Thursday. Glen found me just as I was parking the car and was very welcoming, easy to get along with and very attentive - both ever ready and never getting in the way.

Glen took care of the money and kept track of who was arriving when, welcoming the photograhers and ensuring whatever room we were in was just the right temperature.

As for the studio itself, I loved it from the moment I walked in with its range of sets and backdrops and with plans to expand too! They are lucky my bag was too full for me to try and sneak off with their amazing wallpapers. Lol.

A studio should ideally be warm, easy to find and feel safe and new upper mills is all of these.

Next time hopefully I'll get some free time to shoot with Glen himself.
