References for New Upper Mills Studios

Did a studio day at Upper Mills today and found it to be a very pleasant environment. It was a good size, with ample backdrops and wonderful natural light as well as studio lighting of course. I was made very welcome and comfortable with tea and an electric heater and it was a day of laughter, chatting and productiveness.

I would certainly use this studio again myself and have no hesitation in recommending it to others

Had another great shoot at Upper Mills today with Simone H and Glenn. The studio is always well equipped and has plenty of variety in props and sets to choose from. Glenn is always on hand to assist with lighting and exposure settings if required.

I highly recommend Upper Mills as its well equipped, easy to get to and Glenn or Tim are always on hand to help.

Another fantastic shoot at this popular studio, with Simone H and Victoria Summers. The studio is clean, well equipped and easy to get to, and with Tim on hand to smooth out any technical issues with the lighting and supplying numerous cups of coffee. I did suffer a camera malfunction half way through the shoot and was grateful to Tim for helping me quickly fix it. Thanks guys, you run a good studio!

I had a great shoot at the studio yesterday. It was my first time shooting there and I was working with a new photographer, but it was great.

The studio has a good variety of backdrops which is fab & Glenn is great to work along side.

I'd definitely recommend the studio to anyone thinking of using it :)

Yesterday I had my third shoot at New Upper Mills Studio and was made extremely welcome by Glen who was on hand when required to assist with the lights and supply coffee. I was very impressed with how Glen and Tim have refreshed both the Window and Bedroom sets. Your hard work was certainly worth it and appreciated.

Another great shoot at the magnificent New Upper Mills studio yesterday for a studio day. Glenn was an absolute legend as always, sorting out the lighting so that I get the look that I was hoping to achieve. Nothing is to much trouble and finding out that the studio had numerous different coloured backdrops, Glenn was more than happy to change the white for a beautiful blue. I highly recommend New Upper mills studio, not only is it a great studio with lots of inspiration and areas to shoot, but you also get to work with the incredible Glenn. Thank you so much for all your help.

Had another great shoot at this wonderful studio. Glenn is a true gent, friendly easy to get on with and always on hand to help. He has loads of patience and nothing is to much trouble. Today I had some ideas and Glenn was able to create the lighting that I was aiming for. I highly recommend this fantastic studio, from the usual boudoir area, coloured backdrops, props galore and the impressive natural light window you cannot wish for a better studio. First time at this studio. Glen met me at the door and showed me my parking space and then patiently went through what I wanted to achieve, listening very carefully to my amateur ramblings.

From then on he was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure I got the good shot.

Upper mills hosted a studio day with Sharon and having shot there before knew what to expect from such a professional team.

spent a lovely two in the studio using their famous big window. with Glenn's help we hung lace panels and shot using the Mattress as a posing bench.

all images shot in natural light which was in abundance on the day. used a speed light for the light shadows.

the studio is in an industrial estate and offers both natural light and location possibilities with portable flash heads

i highly recommend the studio to photographers and models wanting a great space to hold a studio day

Had my first shoot at New Upper Mills today and what a great studio it is. Met the fantastic Glenn today and he was an absolute star. He got the lighting set up for me and made fab coffee. Glenn's knowledge of photography and lighting was superb and made my visit to the studio very welcoming. I shot at upper mills last week and with Glenn, the studio itself is lovely, plenty of natural light, warm, clean and lots of teas and coffees.

Glenn looked after me and the photographers the entire time.

This was my 2nd shoot at the studio and once again I was not disappointed. This time the shoot was with Chloesul on her model day at the studio. As always, Tim was on hand to help with the lights. He also helped me with advice on setting up lights for Bodyscapes.

Glenn is a great guy and fantastic photographer at hand to help/assist photographers and make models feel at ease. He also makes a great cup of tea ;) or 10.

The studio is a great space with a range of opportunities. I love the addition of the gorgeous window and the natural light it provides, this is good for variation.

I have been lucky to have met and worked with some amazing creatives here. can't wait to visit again :)

I had a great shoot at the studio today, using it for the first time, and also shooting a new, but rapidly improving model, the lovely EmilyG1. I could not fault the day really. Glenn was on hand to assist, and I must say it is great to have another photographer on hand, as there is so much that can be sorted quickly in terms of lighting and props. A thoroughly recommended venue! Love the windowsill!

Shot at this studio for the first time today, straight away I felt I was in my comfort zone, a lot of studios are very much the same, but this on has more to offer, I was there for two hours, but could quite easily shoot there all day, if you have not shot there yet, then you're missing out.

I worked at the New Upper Mills Studio as part of Rebecca Lotus's Studio Day. Glenn is the perfect host, supplying tea and being on hand to set up studio lights and back drops. I can highly recommend Glenn and the studio and look forward to many more shoots there.
