References for New Upper Mills Studios

I had another fantastic studio day at Upper Mills Studios recently!

It was such a success that I had to extend the day into the later evening!

Glenn is a diamond; so easy to organise a studio day with; professional, kind, very personable and respectful. Communication is always first class!

The day was very enjoyable and the photographers loved shooting in the studio, in the natural light room and on site as it was very quiet. Parking is a breeze and the studio has everything you need.

I can't wait to return and highly recommend to all creatives,

Just had another fabulous shoot at this very well equipped studio. Tim was on hand to assist in setting up the lighting, and helping out when required - also plenty of coffee during the shoot! The studio has a great location with plenty of parking and is recommended

My first time doing a studio shoot and I have to say Glenn was amazing..very helpful on camera settings and getting the best from my shoot..the studio has everything very well set up and was lovely and warm..would highly recommend!!!!

Another great shoot at Upper Mills. As always Glenn couldn't be more helpful, and was more than happy to accommodate the multitude of props I brought and my changes of background and lighting. Glenn worked hard to get the right lighting setup to allow me to get the shots I was after and was really helpful with great ideas. That said, hes got the balance perfect between offering advice and help, and leaving you to your own devices. Not sure when Ill be shooting the the studio again but it will be soon.

This was my first time at Upper Mills Studio, it has so much potential, with just about every wall has a different covering. Glen put heating in both of the rooms and supplied lots of tea/coffee during the shoot. He is very helpful and gives useful advice on camera settings and what lighting works for different settings. A great place to work and I will definitely consider using this studio again.

Thank you Glen, you made the shoot run smoothly and kept the model nice and warm (Gabriella Elena Night) and happy, which made my day easy.

It's a compact studio, but with two or three lovely natural light areas (at least - I'd need to shoot there again to explore other options!)

The lighting kit is excellent - in a world of cheap kit and missing modelling lamps, it stands out as 'this is how it should be everywhere'.

Glenn was very welcoming, and my only suggestion to others is to read what it says on the profile about how to get there, instead of just feeding the postcode into your satnav! Glenn and Tim know better than Mr Tomtom.

A lovely place to work, and I hope to be back!

Using the studio for the first time I was met with a warm welcome from Glenn and plenty of cups of tea!

Glenn is on hand if needed and the studio had a good range of lights, modifiers and different areas to shoot in.

I’m sure I will be returning to the studio and recommend the studio to any level of photographer.

My second shoot at the studio. Glenn was brilliant as always, happy to do whatever is needed to allow me to get the shots I was after. He more than happy to impart his knowledge and help in any way he can, but will also leave you to your own devices to experiment or just crack on. The studio has a massive props collection (thankfully), and there are outfits or props for almost any shoot style available.

100% recommend and my next shoot is already booked for December

I've shot at Upper Mills so many times and it is a great space with various sets, lighting set ups including natural light and a large selection of proper and outfits.

Glenn and Tim are both fab photographers with a wealth of knowledge.

I shot here today with a photographer who was new to studio work. Glenn was on hand the entire time to teach and give feedback. He's very professional and experienced and was an essential on today's shoot.

I would recommend this studio to both complete beginners and pros alike.

Did my first studio shoot at Upper Mills today with Glenn (who I know from a previous life).

Glenn was brilliant going though the lighting kit and the principles behind using it all. Hes very patient and is happy to direct you as much as you need or leave you alone to get on with it.

The studio setup is great with so many facilities and options for shots.

Im planning going back soon to learn some more :)

A compact studio on a top floor old warehouse, great support from Glen on of the owners. Lots of shoes dotted around. Great for beginners and intermediate photographers would highly recommend.

Had a really enjoyable shoot with Stag images at Glens Studio.Glen was very accommodating ,at times the temperature dropped ,more than happy to sort out the Gas heater ample supply of hot drinks ,happy to be there oversee in a respectful manner .great source of information if any questions about photos and modelling .I would highly recommend Glen and his studio .

The studio has everything you would need.

Glen is an excellent host with ample supply of tea and coffee.

I have worked with Glen many times now, and with his knowledge of lighting, I would definitely work at the studio again.

Tim was a super help on our shoot with Maggielou and SimoneH. A cold day outside but with the heat cranked up and a flow of tea, the 4 hours flew by all too quickly.

Tim is a dab hand at lighting and settings plus nifty with the reflector for the natural light set .
