I had a great garden group shoot with Neil and the camera club. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. They were all very easy to work with. The group had a great mix of offering some ideas, letting me pose away and listened to my suggestions as well.

Neil was very organised before hand as well with letting me know outfits ideas and chatting on the phone for final arrangements as well.

Highly recommended and I work be happy to work with Neil and the camera club again.

It has been some time since I last shot with Neil due to timings on both our parts and then me moving from North to South, but eventually we managed to arrange it and although it didn't go as planned because we were going to shoot on location (then it rained and got rather cold) our second plan of attack worked out really really well. We booked The Loft Studio and decided on shooting a mix of fashion - lingerie - nudes. We had such a great time shooting each set the time just flew by. Neil is a lovely person, easy to get along with and enjoy being in his company. We spent a lot of time talking in amongst shooting and also sharing the car journeys allowed us to have a good catch up too :)

I know Neil captured some really beautiful images of me that day, I look forward to seeing them in due course.

Yay! Finally got the chance to shoot with Neil one to one where we had a little more time to bounce ideas off each other since our first meeting a good two years ago! Time just flies by but I still remembered the epic images we got when working in together in Spain before and the styles that Neil rocked so it was good fun getting a flow of inspiration going in messages as the shoot date drew closer... The lovely thing about Neil is that he recognises concepts he has an interest in shooting and will share this with the model in the planning stages but he's also so very welcoming of input from the models because he's so keen to get the best out of that creative team spirit and works to get the best out of whoever is standing before his lens. I actually said to him on the day that it almost seems like it hasn't been two years since we last shot because of how automatically we got into a flow; some photographers are just so easy to work with and Neil is definitely one of those photographers. :)

Neil will make every effort to ensure that a shoot has an enjoyable vibe; going out of his way to be generously courteous and delivering utmost respect and encouragement to the people he works with: We shot for a half day but I could have easily seen us going on with more ideas and having even more of a dilemma with the sheer volume of keepers! :P Literally: When Neil was showing me the back of the camera I would see one like; "Ohh that's nice" ...then scroll to the next; "actually so is that" and this was pretty much the situation with every set we did! :D The fact that Neil actively encourages a fun bounce makes the time go so fast, he's a real gent who looks after his models well and wants it to be a positive experience for all from start to finish. He is completely respectful of making sure models are comfortable with the shoot/ideas, we had a real laugh and literally nattered about allsorts too! Good fun, lovely company, epic images and such a fabulous catch-up after so long. :D

I always like photo shoots that involve diversity with variation in outfits and shapes utilising a location - Joel Hicks Photographic was an ideal place for us to shoot because we had all the lovely scenery to make use of and Neil and I were in our element making use of the decent weather to get the outdoor images ranging from dramatic shapes to emotive beauty/portraits. Neil will put his hand to all manner of shoot concepts and is so good at capturing a moment where you can see that the angle and composition has done it justice. So upon receiving some of the images by email after our shoot, I was really rather excited! Lovely work and it really shows that we were benefiting from an awesome model-photographer team rapport. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Neil again and most definitely look forward to doing so again before too long!

I met and worked with Neil for the first time when he arranged for me to model fashion for a local camera club, on location. Neil picked me up on time and was easy to get along with. The camera club I worked with were all friendly and lovely to work with, the lovely location was a bonus! Afterwards, Neil worked with me on a 1:1 basis back at my home, working up to art nude. Neil had lots of ideas he wanted to try and was open to my input. I felt comfortable working with him and would happily work with him again :)

Had a lovely shoot with Neil this week! After originally meeting him at a christmas event at Yorkshire Studios, he booked me for a 1-2-1 session at Joel Hicks when I was visiting there :)

Unfortunately we couldn't get outside like we had hoped due to the weather conditions but we worked with what we had in the studio and from what I saw we got some lovely images! Neil is incredibly friendly and respectful and I really enjoyed being in his company :)

Hope to work with him again in the future and would happily recommend him!

I worked with Neil first briefly at the Christmas shoot hosted at Yorkshire Studios last year... then last month we had the chance to interact properly with some more one to one shooting spread out through a delightful visit to Spain with Photofinca. It was a very productive week at some lovely spots but I cannot stress how much I enjoyed the sessions I shot with Neil in person; he has a tremendous eye for beauty and knows exactly what he aims for in a beautiful photograph. The images are doing all the talking in how exquisitely captured they are... Neil was always on the case where perfecting the angles was concerned and the proof was in how soaked his trousers were by the time we got the shot! :D

He was a lovely sport and so easy to get along with; when we were not shooting I could have chatted with him and not noticed the hours pass! Completely amicable, professional in his approach and courteous, all round a real gentleman and if you are a model reading this - rest assured your planned shoot with Neil will rock. :)

Neil always gels with his models so well which is absolutely all part of a successful shoot - if you can flow with a great working relationship then you cannot go wrong. It is especially nice that Neil is all ears for his models to add their own input.

I first worked with Neil a couple of years ago now when he was totally new to photography at one of Paul's Studio's Wales Weekends, I instantly got on with him and he was very respectful of me, very polite and friendly and we have kept in touch ever since.

Neil booked me last year for a shoot at a waterfall nearby me and asked if it was ok to share the shoot with one of his friends who is also a photographer. I agreed and shooting with he and Chris was an absolute pleasure. He took me for a lovely lunch nearby and ensured I kept warm in-between shooting as the location and water was certainly cool. They are both fun to work with and are professional in their manner of photography. I feel very comfortable working with them both and so when Neil contacted me for another shoot at the waterfall this year I agreed and looked forward to the day.

We had a lovely day out again and improved on the previous shots there. I wasn't feeling 100% in myself that day due to menstrual issues and Neil was very kind about me and I really appreciated it.

The images achieved are lovely and I can recommend Neil to any other models and I know they will have a great shoot with him.
