Absolutely great experience shooting with Claudio :)

Communication before, during and after the shoot was all very clear, friendly and respectful. He is real gentelman :)

He is master of the light, take care about small details.

We produced some good images which were sent to me very quickly.

Highly recommend and hope to work together again!

Up until our most recent time working together, Claudio had always made arrangements for me to travel to a specific place (his place in Frankfurt or to another location) where we shot together for an extended period; all organised and put together by him as independent shoot plans where he took on (and managed superbly) every last aspect of responsibility.

So this time was a little different in that Claudio was joining on my organised event - an Arts Voyage creative solo model trip to the paradise island of Sardinia whereby I put into place all the essential elements of the trip as the exclusive host for a whole week of us working one-to-one both on location and at the lush villa complex that made up our home quarters for the week. :) It was my turn to look after and host him!! This comes after we had completed a very next-level productive trip to Lanzarote the year previous (one of Claudio’s trips) so as anyone reading could imagine... I was just completely over the moon when he was able to confirm attending the Arts Voyage Sardinia trip I was hosting! :D He is a fantastic location photographer and has probably worked in all conditions imaginable over the years, so his eye for lighting and composition is on-pointe when it comes to handling the notoriously changeable conditions of outdoor model photography. Even in situations where we had less time to operate: he perfectly captured so many indescribably wonderful pictures and I really do have so much credit to give to Claudio as someone who can see the moment of beauty and freeze it in a picture. He’s brilliant! :) Of course in Sardinia, it goes without saying that we were spoilt for locations too... I had performed my usual location research and recces as the trip host, but Claudio actually knew the island well also having visited before a number of times! As a result, the one-to-one solo/exclusive photographer set out of this event worked just perfect for us in this instance because we were able to do our own thing entirely/work off the location lists/bounce suggestions off each other with where to go and even different looks! In fact we just had a non-stop flow of both planned shoot yield and impromptu as well when we stumbled upon cool opportunities as well and made something magic from the situation! Because Claudio is such an easy person to work with/super laid-back and open to models input contributions as part of the shooting process, this just meant it was one killer image after another and a continuously innovative atmosphere. :) Each day on the event had something a little different for us... From rocks sculpted out by nature, to enormous waterfall lagoons, turquoise ocean landscapes and even abandoned train carriages!! It just continued to roll with one very epic adventure followed by another! Both in the “hit rate” in pictures produced, and also the wonderful company. I must admit, for me as a model; it’s experiences (and memories) like these which remind me why I do this job. It is actually a struggle to put into words how rewarding it is to smash a week like this with such lovely like-minded people. :)

Claudio is super specialised as a location art nude photographer, and upon arriving at a shooting site he will instantly spot pictures where the model can compliment the shapes of the environment with their body. He’s a true natural! But he also made out-of-this-world photographs with some of the more themed/stylised concepts when the locations suited. He has the creative vision to really inject drama into a shot whatever the style or mood, and this can certainly be a challenge in an environment outside a studio where you have full control of the lighting/set etc. But he really just takes it in his stride and it seriously spurs you on a a model when you see the back of the camera and get excited about the next shot, and the one after that! One thing that Claudio values is teamwork, and I feel that this trip gave us the perfect foundations to generate a HUMONGOUS degree of teamwork... So whilst I rate Claudio massively (see previous references too) as an individual creative who knows exactly what he’s doing with all the technicalities of photography and executing a quality picture, he’s a darn corking team-member too and an absolute blast to shoot with in all respects. :)

The week flew by at a ridiculous speed - from the moment I met up with Claudio at the airport to begin the slot to us parting at the end almost felt like some kind of time-machine phenomenon! But always a good sign, if you can spend a full week with an individual and the time goes quickly, they’re obviously a terrific person to be around/work with! :D The “down-time” was equally enjoyable too and the all-inclusive arrangement of the trip enabled us to endulge in many of the fine restaurants that Sardinian had to offer - of course Claudio’s past visitations meant we had some sublime recommendations too from our very own expert on different dishes! :P Ohhh, not to mention the amazing cheeses - because of Claudio I literally always make a point of exploring cheeses now in different destinations I visit... I’ll never be the same again, I’m hooked! So yes, it goes WITHOUT saying that we had a ball. Claudio is a true gentleman with a huge heart, he is chilled-out and cheery by nature making him just generally a pleasure to be around, but also super social which means that the chatting about anything and everything never came to a stop. :) He is that thoughtful and helpful by nature that; even though on this particular trip the arrangement is for me to host and look after him, he was still always asking if there was anything he could do to help! That says it all. So any model that is considering working with Claudio in the future can rest assured that they will be well looked after by a truly respectful and professional person who will always think after those he is working with.

A brilliant communicator in the pre-shoot period, an unquestionably courteous photographer who bears the best levels of etiquette when working with models, a very talented person who really does smash-it with this photography business and a wonderful person to have spent a whole week of shooting with - yet again!!!

Do I recommend Claudio? Sky high!!!

Thank you for an absolutely rocking week! :)

I spent a full week working on the magical island of Lanzarote with Claudio. We first began discussions about such a trip last year when Claudio messaged be about the proposal and we began arranging and planning potential dates and locations etc. Claudio even considerately invited me over to Frankfurt for an introductory photo shoot before the trip with respect to "break the ice" so that we had already met and worked together prior to spending a week together working in another destination. This was also great because you get a feel for one another's working styles so that when you do approach such a big project, confidence levels are bouncing and you're ready to rock some fabulous imagery. :D

The Lanzarote trip was organised for November; despite me being experienced in cold climates on location shoots, Claudio was very concerned that I wouldn't be too cold and very thoughtful of my welfare. After reassuring him that this would still be tropical for me, even though it was later in the year... We only had about two days of overcast before the sun came out in force and the factor 50 was needed! But this was very much at the forefront of Claudio's mind when planning such a shoot: comfort/safety of the models he works with and ensuring that the environment and surroundings will not put pressure on the process of shooting on location which already has it's own set of challenges for the model and photographer. As Such, I thank Claudio very much for showing this level of care, and can reassure other models that he will prioritise well-being. At least now he knows for future that I'm a low temperature-enduring Yorkshire model who would have to go to Antarctica to feel colder than when at home. :P

He planned everything with precision making sure that the whole trip went so smoothly and that we had everything we needed for the week. There was never a shortage of delicious food, the apartment gave us a safe and secure base to store our belongings whilst we headed out on location everyday, he organised transport/flights and communicated well keeping me informed so that I could work the travelling into the rest of my touring calendar. I respect photographers that take on all the responsibility of an independent one-to-one shooting trip because I know myself how much time goes into the planning of them. It's a lot! And fair play to Claudio for taking all that weight and ensuring I was taken good care of every step of the way.

When out shooting - my gosh, Claudio's knowledge of this beautiful country was phenomenal! He knew so many sensational locations from tip to toe of the place and it's just impossible not to get excited when you're out there and you see these places... Goodness knows how my jaw is still intact because it must have fallen to the ground with amazement literally every day! YES, it was a location-loving models haven! Claudio had an exceptionally experienced eye for angles and composition - I could throw the shapes and he would almost position everything (the same way an artist would) to produce drama and impact within the photographs. I also wish to personally thank Claudio for the ongoing team-effort that was present during our shooting time... He allowed me to excitedly add input/suggestions if I saw an opportunity, also climb and straddle various positions in what looked risky but I had full confidence and control of what I was doing. Claudio had faith in me and when reviewing the images after... It was a case of deciding which small few didn't work because the majority were magnifique!!!! He is an exceptional location photographer and very patient with the light also. Strong sunshine, although nice and warm, is very difficult for photographers to manage sometimes. He took it in his stride and created some wonderful images.

Claudio is a true gentleman with a very kind heart. He was lovely to be teamed-up with for the week and it was a strange thing when we came to the last day because it seemed to have all gone so fast! Such a chilled-out and easy going person who was good fun to be accompanied by, I recommend him so highly to literally anyone looking to work with Claudio in the future. I also greatly look forward to our next shooting opportunity! :D

Claudio got in touch with me to arrange a modelling shoot abroad. As we were in discussion about planning things, he proposed just a day shoot beforehand inviting me over to Frankfurt so that we could break the ice. What a wonderful and great idea this was, it’s really allowed us to get a feel for the kind of styles we could shoot and develop a good rapport prior to a longer future booking. :) Claudio certainly wanted me to feel at ease and safe so I can say with great confidence that I very much enjoyed this shoot and are extremely looking forward to the time when we shoot in the future!

When I took my flight from Manchester to Frankfurt... All was good start with, but then an unexpected blizzard hit which put a bit of delay on the flight. This all happened just before the plane was due to take off and since Claudio had so kindly offered to collect me from the airport, it put a delay on us finally meeting up at Frankfurt and naturally limited our communication whilst the plane was in and out of taxi and Claudio was driving. But we made it out of the madness and he was so patient, he also took me for something to eat before we got back to his since I hadn’t eaten before boarding (expecting to land much earlier than I did). He really looks after models and gave me the best hospitality that evening when I stayed at his home the evening before our photoshoot the next day.

Before I talk about the shoot... I just want to say that Claudio’s selection of herbal teas are the best in the world!!!!!!! :D

Then we cracked on with shooting the following day, Claudio’s place has the most beautiful natural light you could imagine! We got so many lovely images made by just coming up with different ideas around the same area of the house because the light was so pretty. Claudio is really good at managing the light too... I’m a very pale model so sometimes I get in front of the camera and the exposure goes crazy but Claudio has epic technical skills and took his time to get the exact perfect look and feel to the shots. He also frames beautifully and communicated/directed well if he wanted to take several versions of the same pose. He was really easy to work with and we got on really well as a team. :) He kindly let me take some back of the camera shots too since the images were looking so good.

We also did some shooting with flash in the different areas of his place, the top of the house was a particularly cool set.

The day went so quick and we chatted a lot as we worked which brought really nice vibes to the shoot. :) We had plenty of tea breaks and he prepared me a lovely lunch in the middle of the day. Claudio is a true professional gentleman with a big heart and I would certainly recommend him very highly to other models.

Thank you Claudio!
