Very nice studio, great set up and amazing props. The location is perfect and straight forward to get to. The owner Brian is very hospitable and accommodating- what ever you need help with ( lighting , camera questions etc) he is always able and goes out of his way. It’s one of those places I wish I had found sooner. Highly recommended and I will be visiting there regularly in the future.

6 hours of shooting with 2 different photographers...

Brian is absolutely brilliant and works really hard to get the lighting incredible...

I am so happy after going away with 2 very happy photographers...The images from the back of the camera look so good...

Brian is very protective of his models and this is just one thing I love about him...

The studio itself is spacious and loads of props...

Another great shoot at Photo 39 this time with Miss Diamond Sparkle. We aimed to get some bodyscape images and with Brian's input and lighting expertise we achieved what we set out to. As ever Brian is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble to help you out to get the lighting set up you want. I would highly recommend the studio

I think this was one of my best days here...

Great atmosphere and the shoots went soooooo well...

Brian worked so hard to help the photographers especially one where he had never done bodyscapes before...Brian continuously helped make the shot better and better each time including holding a reflector for ages...Brian was really determined...I cannot wait to see these shots...

If you are a model, you are always safe with Brian...He will walk you back to your car and make sure your in the car before walking away...

It was sooooooo lovely and warm too....Brian knows I love the heat...

Brian has good taste in music too!

I worked at the cottage studio today for first time. Brian the studio owner was lovely. He collected me from haywards Heath train station as planned and drove me to and from the studio.

He was polite and professional. He was great and was always there to give a helping hand when needed

All the stress was taken off me as Brian kindly organised all of the bookings

The day went swift and smooth and flew by. The studio has a great set up and changing area too.

I would highly recommend the cottage studio to any models travelling towards Sussex. Brian is a good guy. Thumbs up from me. I’m always happy to return to the studio :-)

Brian is an excellent host. I had the pleasure of working in his studio on Monday with the lovely Sooze. He was helpful with lighting and props and always on hand to make the shoot run smoothly. I will be highly recommending his studio to all fellow photographers and I will certainly be joining some of his studio days in the future. Thanks Brian for a great day.

This was my first time shooting at The Cottage Studio and it was wonderful. Brian picked me up/dropped me off to the station which was so kind of him and throughout the day nothing was too much trouble. He is very friendly and has a great sense of humour. The studio is well equipped and warm and the changing room is lovely too. I would highly recommend shooting here and we are already in talks for my return next year :)

I think this was my fourth shoot at photo 39, i have never failed to get good images from a shoot here, but most importantly as i gradually learn studio shooting is how helpful Brian is, when you don't need him he is invisible, when you do, and shout Brian? he suddenly appears and has the skills and experience to sort things out. Just don't get him going on the virtues of |Sony cameras (until that is of course you need to borrow his because yours has had a Brain fade). Think you Brian for saving the day

organised the shoot and model thru Brian from my home in France. All went smoothly and I obtained the photos I wanted. A very well equipped studio and much potential for outdoor shoots, but mine was in January, in the evening, in the rain...

Brian is a lovely guy that makes me feel very comfortable around him and his studio...

Brian made sure it was nice and warm for me (23 degrees I think he told me haha)...

There are loads of props, so if you ever need to add to your creativity you can always find something (today I used a red sparkly hat to go with the glitter on my face)...

Sooze

I was booked today to provide images for a photographer who wanted to expand their portfolio. I had not been to the studio for a long time, so asked Brian to meet me in the car park at a certain time. Brian turned up on time and allowed me to park outside the studio. He had already prepared the studio with excellent heating in the studio itself and the changing room. Brian is a lovely host, on hand to help with props, lighting,refeshments, whilst also being discreet. I have no hesitation is recommending this studio.

I've shot a couple of times at Cottage Studio and it's a pleasure to shoot there, great equipment and a wide variety of costumes and props. Brian is very helpful with the lighting and provides suggestions to help with the shoot. I highly recommend the studio

Comms with Brian before booking the studio were 1st class and on the money.

Upon arrival Brian was very welcoming and quickly showed me around the studio and the lighting that is available and all the array of light modifiers is exceptional. I have recently invested in my own lights so was keen to use those ... but next time I'll just use what's there !

Once the shoot was underway Brian left us to it and only appeared if we needed anything during the 3 hour shoot.

I will definitely be booking the Cottage Studio again very soon - thank you.
