References for TBG Studio

This was my first visit to TBG Studio and I was very impressed with the space and layout.

Rob was very friendly and made me welcome. He also helped me out with various lighting setups, all of which were excellent and provided me and my model with plenty of drinks throughout our 4 hour shoot.

I will definitely be using the studio again in the future.

I can’t tell you how many times I have done shoots here! I’ve done all of my studio shoots here last year. I recommended it! Plenty of room, good equipment, and Rob is very helpful whenever you have questions or need help with anything. The studio is close since I live right up the road in Mildenhall. You will not be disappointed.

I am so pleased that I used hubby's recommendation to shoot here.

Rob was an absolute diamond helping translate mood board images into lighting set ups.

Kettle was already on the boil when I got there, quick intro and walkabout of the set, and away we went.

Help was there when needed but otherwise no intrusions.

Had my first shoot at TBG today with "Photos by JJ Phoenix" and I must say this is a great place to shoot! Not only the premises but Rob is a lovely guy (we quickly found several things in common!) - he kept out of the way when not needed but always ready to step in with practical help with lights etc when called upon. The changing area for models in particular is first rate. Easy access, easy parking. Thoroughly recommended!

Another great shoot at the studio.

Always a pleasure to shoot here, the facilities are great. Models seem to enjoy shooting here too, warm and comfortable with a decent size, clean and private changing room.

Rob deserves particular praise for being as attentive as you need him to be, helpful in every way possible and knowledgeable.

I’m lucky that it is fairly local to me but even if it wasn’t I’d still travel.

Recently shot for the very first time at Robin's TBG Studio over a two day period. What a fantastic studio and what a great host. Tea aand coffee on tap and a warm welcome and plenty of conversation when required. Best of all Rob was able to provide me with massive assistance on lighting and other suggestions.

What I really appreciated was his friendly businesslike approach and his attention to detail - making sure I went away a happy man. He says that is his main objective and I would say he achieved that over and above. I will definitely be back!!

I’m always a bit apprehensive going to a studio I’ve never used before, but as soon as Rob welcomed me in and did a quick tour, I knew this studio was for me. Great set up, really tidy and organised, loads of different sets and plenty to keep me occupied for months to come. The heat was on and when we used some of the upstairs sets it was lovely and toasty and it made a world of difference not seeing a model shivering in the cold…top hosting!!

Rob was really friendly and helpful on the battery powered flash head bits that i used upstairs that were new to me, but was always conscious of not being in the way…top notch and we chatted loads after my shoot and he gave me some great tips on my processing of mono images. Awesome bloke, awesome studio and bloody awesome shoot…loved every minute and will be back very soon…

I had a fantastic shoot at TBG with Amber Tutton. Arranged at fairly short notice but excellent comms never the less.

So much potential for future shoots in the upstairs sets, so hope to bring LadyDilema here next year!

Great studio space with so many different shooting options, plenty of lights and a great host, what more can you ask.

Had a great shoot with Ayla plus a good natter about life, the universe and pretty much everything with Rob. It's not exactly local to me but I have the excuse of having family nearby so it's a great option to make the trip even more worthwhile :)

I had my first studio day at Tbg last week.

What a fabulous studio!

Rob was very accommodating- there was snow outside but two, toasty heaters blearing out in the changing room which was delightful! Cups of tea by the dozen too! A huge, great changing room with fab light, props and space and mirrors.

The studio offers SO many wonderful options, props, sets and backdrops. Upstairs offers some fabulous sets to allow for so many options for styles, themes and shots.

A fantastic white cove/infinity wall with stairs and blocks to bring in to use too. Along with plenty of coloured backdrops and lighting!!

This studio is such a fantastic space over two floors. I had such a fabulous studio day here, easily one of my favourite places I’ve shot in.

I can’t wait to return for another studio day.

I now regard myself as a frequent user of the studio so felt I should leave an updated reference although in truth nothing has changed since my first shoot there which I why I keep going back. I book direct and have also attended studio days and an evening event

Rob is a great host and an all round good guy. Nothing is too much trouble to help with any set up I might need and there is an amazing choice of lighting, sets and back drops.

To be truthful there are so many options at the studio that I have still not been able to use them all.

Pre shoot communication is excellent as is the whole experience

Highly recommended by me to photographers and models

I finally had my first studio day at Tbg which I was really looking forward to after visiting the studio a couple of times and seeing how many great sets there were in there and how warm it was!!

Rob was super helpful from start to finish,with his help advertising for the day and on then day helping photographers to the studio help set up lighting. Rob is such a friendly person to be around and I really appreciated him keeping the heating on for me haha! I can exaggerate enough how much of a difference this makes when you are modelling.

All the photographers who came on the day were absolutely wonderful,such a great group of people. It definitely set up for a successful day!

Overall the studio has such a nice,friendly atmosphere and I felt safe,respected and at ease the whole time I was there. I can’t wait to get back for another day and I could not recommend it enough!

I had my first studio day last weekend at the wonderful TBG Studio!

Rob picked me up on Saturday morning and made sure I had breakfast and coffee before taking me to the studio to get ready! He even got me pecan pastries which are my favourite 😉

Rob is so lovely and made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. He is also a super talented photographer and I’m absolutely thrilled I got the chance to shoot with him! He had some amazing ideas and a great selection for clothes and accessories for me to try!

Thank you for giving me the chance to work at TBG studio. I had so much fun and I can't wait to return for another!

I have shot at TBG a number of times and the studio owner and host Rob, is a great help indeed.

Precomms good and Rob is always ready to make a brew throughout the shoot, and provide guidance and assistance whenever required.

Or he will leave you to get on with your shoot, if he feels you know what you are doing with his lights and props.

Great studio, with numerous sets, that Rob will adjust to suit whatever theme you are shooting.

Always fun and will be back again, of course.

I had my first shoot at TBG yesterday, working with Ayla. Very impressed.

The studio is well laid out with plenty of shooting space on two levels, including an infinity curve downstairs and a number of sets upstairs. Rob is incredibly friendly and helpful, on hand to help with lighting and to advise if you’re trying to get a particular look. (That’s as well as providing a regular supply of tea & coffee).

Definitely recommended. I will be back!

I had the opportunity to work at TBG studio yesterday arranged by Grewy .

I had a warm welcome when I arrived , Rob offered me drinks and food throughout the day , a real down to earth person , had alot of laughs throughout the shoot .

The studio is beautiful and has a lovely dressing room which had accessories and outfits which Rob offered to use if I wanted to . He gave me some really helpful advice to help with my modelling journey too which I really appreciated.

I hope to work there again one day soon , was a great shoot .

Another wonderful shoot at TBG. Rob has his studio running on point. Everything is ready for you when you arrive. His help with lighting is priceless. Will shoot here whenever I get the chance. Highly recommended.

I had my first visit to TBG studio recently and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been there before! What an incredible space with so many different areas to shoot. The studio and changing area is incredibly spacious, clean and tidy. Rob was very welcoming, he showed me around and made cups of tea throughout the day. I loved modelling against the infinity cove and using the different sets upstairs. The equipment is of very high quality and the results we got on the day were amazing! I also loved the different pieces of furniture, especially the chair downstairs which had a lot of character and photographed very well! I was very impressed with this studio and I would certainly love to work there again! :D

Great studio with many background options as can be seen from the images in his portfolio. Ideal for the experienced photographer or those just getting started with studio shooting, with Rob at hand for any guidance if needed.

Plenty of lights and accessories caters for all needs.
