Talented designer, sculptor and artist H. R. Giger passed away on 12th May last year. For those who don't know who he is, his most famous designs (and the main thing that broke his artwork into the mainstream) were the creatures and sets in the film Alien. He was an inspiration to many, and his passing came as a shock.

I had always wanted to try and do something Giger-esque but never knew how to go about it. This sad news made me decide that I wanted to create something to share with you all near the anniversary of his death. Throughout May I will be sharing shots from this shoot on my Facebook page, to celebrate his life and the artistic vision he shared with the world. This is my own spin on his dark, wonderful designs.
