What an experience .. today was my first time at TankSpace and WOW ..! I was slightly nervous in advance of the shoot having never done anything like this before. I shouldn’t have worried. Elle could not have been any more welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful with technical advice .. camera settings, lighting etc. ‘House’ model Halo was fantastic. Great costuming, great shapes and great effort, along with Erica Mulkern who organised the day. Can’t wait to get back there soon.

We ran a shoot event at Tank Space yesterday for a group of first timer's looking to try something different. Tank Space and Halo in particular were fantastic. The venue and range of accessories is brilliant. Halo ran herself ragged all day helping and coaching newcomers so they all had a brilliant time and got some good photos out of it. The best measure of the success was that many of them are already asking for us to do another event, so Tank Space have a new audience!

Last month I visited Tankspace for another group shoot with a group of models who I shoot regularly with along with a couple of new faces. This time we were shooting for half a day and the experience was fantastic as with the previous times I have shot here. Halo was on hand the whole time to help with setting lights up and providing technical expertise and myself and the other photographers in attendance were able to produce some amazing images of each of the models in attendance. I enjoyed shooting her again and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for another great experience!

I had my third shoot at Tank Space last Tuesday with two stunning models and what an amazing shoot it was. Halo was so helpful in suggesting and arranging for the two models to shoot with me and what an inspired choice it was. Thank you so much Halo. Elle was managing the shoot on Tuesday and she was excellent providing such helpful advice and suggestions and many lovely cups of coffee!! Elle is a lovely person and we had time to share photographic experiences.

I had the absolute pleasure of attending my first ever event at this amazing studio and it certainly won’t be my last. The event was organised by the lovely Ivory Flame and Artemis Fauna. The event itself was so very well organised and coordinated with great pre comms and lots of helpful expert information given prior to the event to reduce nerves and maximise everyone’s experience.

On the day from the minute, you walk in the door your made to feel welcomed and offered a brew with a cheerful smile. The venue itself is amazing and such a well set up and ran creative space where you can let your imagination run wild and the staff will do their best to make your visions a reality. Halo and Elle were always on hand offering support and advice if needed and taking onboard any suggestions or requests made by the group.

If you are lucky enough to get the chance to attend this fantastic studio, then you’re in for an amazing shoot. Totally recommended.

Thanks for your hard work and patience and a great creative session, Im looking forward to working with you again very soon :)

Last week I attended my first Tankspace workshop - and wow it was a fantastic, full on, fun couple of hours of pure, crazy creation!

It was their ‘Cyberpunk’ themed event, the inaugural one supposedly, and boy I hope they put it on again. So much energy and excitement in the studio. The models were terrific and throw themselves into roles and poses the made the theme come alive.

There was plenty of support on hand and the whole atmosphere was very encouraging with sharing of ideas.

Thank you to Halo and everyone who made me so welcome. Can’t wait to see the results of the photoshoot and what other workshop days Tankspace has planned!

I organised a shoot at TankSpace's indoor rain studio with their wonderful in-house photographer Halo.

The communications beforehand were excellent with a lot of understanding and support for what is, unsurprisingly, a 'nervous first time' for anyone who isn't a specialist underwater model or photographer (they have access to both if you want to hire either).

You will get encouragement and help all the way through, especially during the shoot where they can get the most out of the water environment for you. Check them out, and get something special to add to your portfolio.

I had such an amazing shoot at Tank Space on Sunday with the beautiful Ivory Flame and Cariad Celis. The owner, Halo is such a lovely person, very welcoming and put me at ease as soon as I arrived. Halo's pre-comms were excellent. She was very helpful throughout the shoot and her input was so important to the success of the shoot. Not only is Halo such a great person, she is also great to chat to and happy to share her knowledge and experience. Tank Space is a wonderful venue and it is so exciting to shoot there and is very highly recommended. Thank you so much Halo for making the shoot such a great experience. I would love to return again before too long.

I have had the pleasure of working at TankSpace a few times now and I’m ashamed that this is the first reference I’ve given them!

What a fantastic experience that I never want to step out of! I would happily become a full time underwater model if possible!

The team are wonderful people who prioritise models comfort and make them feel safe. No question is a silly question and it’s not a problem if you don’t get the technique the first time or the tenth time while in the tank, they’re patient and will take you through the steps.

TankSpace has an over flowing collection of props, jewellery and outfits of all styles which are massively size inclusive!

Their lighting set ups are fantastic and can be changed to fit all sorts of themes and vibes. They’re massively helpful towards the photographers in sharing the best settings on your camera to get the most out of the tank and rain room.

Whether you’re a photographer or a model, you will have a fantastic time, you’ll be very looked after and you will not want to leave!

I seriously cannot recommend TankSpace enough!

I had a wonderful time modelling on the Tank Space Renaissance Group shoot last week. Halo, Ell, Robin and Janey were nothing but wonderful on the day. Everything was taken care of- all we needed to do was choose our outfits and have fun! I felt very well looked after and everyone that attended seemed delighted by their images. The day ran very smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Tank Space. They certainly know what they are doing and I just hope to be back very soon :)

I had the most amazing time modelling for the renaissance themed event organised by the amazing team of humans at the Tank-Space!

Events are always hard work for everyone but Halo, Ell, Robin and guest tutor Jayne where always happy to help with a smile and positive energy :)

The event was very well organised and ran smoothly! The styling provided was beautiful and with endless options of accessories and dresses to play with !

The sets they created were stunning and the lighting was beautiful.. it felt like being on a dreamy theatre productions! Also modelling underwater was so much fun !

It was also nice to see a lot of familiar faces attending the event as well got to meet lots of new talented photographers and models!

I very highly recommend booking your time at this magical space and hope to model again from the Tank-Space soon !

Tankspace is a magical place focusing on the wet element :) From controlling the weather to give people without scuba-gear and waterhousings the ability to take breathtaking underwater photos. I have shot remotely there several times, but this last time was hosted by tankspace. Great models, smooth operation and easy to follow guidance. I am sure I`ll attend more remotes, but on my photographic "bucket"-list is also to visit the place in person.

Having had a very successful shoot here once before with the rain machine, it was time to revisit and try the tank. I will confess to some trepidation as I was taking two models, though experienced, had never shot underwater before.

And then....we met Halo, the studio manager.

In no time at all, Halo had both girls totally at ease in the tank and posing like pros!

I really cannot thank you enough Halo, for all your help and advice throughout the entire shoot, not just to the models, but me as well!

So for a unique experience and staff who will go above and beyond to make your visit a success, I can highly recommend this brilliant studio!

Fantasy Dabblers

We organised a day at TankSpace with 4 models and 4 photographers (including us) using both their tank and their rain machine space. It was a very enjoyable day and we have hundreds of striking and varied images.

The tank shooting area is well set up. TankSpace staff offer advice to photographers on getting best results and give help where needed to models as well as supervising health and safety instruction. We mostly shot with 2 – and no more than 3 – photographers at a time and that seemed to work well. The rain machine area was new to us but created excellent results. TankSpace helpers also expertly directed smoke onto the scene when asked. The “rainwater” is, incidentally, even warmer than the tank.

Special mention for the friendly and helpful TankSpace crew members - in particular for their help finding ways to make things easier for our wheelchair user.

We recommend TankSpace for anyone looking for this sort of facility.

I had a fabulous time at Tankspace, Halo was amazingly helpful and helped everything go along very smoothly. The clarity of the water was great, the rain area nice and clean.

I got some fabulous video there and will definitely be returning.

My very first time at Tankspace, I went with like minded group of people, and we where able to create some great images. A big thankyou to Halo, who was on hand for the 8 hrs we where there to help and assist us throughout the day. What a cracking place, using the tank, and rain floor, everyone i know enjoyed themselves , and i will be back . 100% recommend

Joined a larger group of creative humans for a shoot at tankspace and WOW what a frickin amazing place. There is absolutely nothing quite like it. The creatives that work there know absolutely everything you need to know to capture amazing shots - including Halo and Ell who assisted everyone with everything throughout the 6 hour shooting window we had.

I modelled and photographed and loved every single second. If you get chance, go!!!

My very first underwater modelling event yesterday with the Tank Space ......and I really feel I was in the best and safest place for this to happen ! The staff where sooooo encouraging and supportive in a way I don't think I have ever experienced before ! It was fabulous meeting so many terrific and polite photographers in one place who were all charming to work for. The models where all so very individual with their looks and bodies, their pose and self-presentation brought endless variety it was a delight to see, and so helpful with each other too !.......and then there was the Tank Space wardrobe which was like your very favourite cake shop, soooo full of absolute eye candy I could of played there for days. In conclusion .....if you haven't shot or modelled there ......you should !!!.....thank you wonderful souls...Fleurdelis X
