References for Tanya Fitness

A few weeks ago Tanya responded to my casting call for a Fitness shoot - and yesterday we met up at Joel Hicks Photographic - and the results are amazing!

Prior to the shoot, correspondence with Tanya was excellent and we discussed many different styles and possibilities - her ideas were great and she was very open to mine and it soon became apparent that this was going to be a great shoot.

Tanya arrived early to prepare for the shoot while I set up the studio. She was ready to go on time and looked stunning. As a full-time fitness and pilates instructor she filled my casting requirements perfectly.

She is great company, very intelligent and knowledgeable and brought a wealth of modelling experience to the shoot - we even managed to create a time machine and go back to the 1980s! - who knew a single white man's shirt had such powers!

Overall, an amazing shoot with a lovely person and great model - HIGHLY recommended - we even lost track of time and we were just preparing to shoot another set when we noticed we had run over by 5 minutes! Always a good sign when you need to come back again to shoot more....

Today I found a 'Gem" of a model. She has the best toned body for artistic nude I have seen for years. She provided some stunning images, no need to ask for a pose she is straight there with poses that complement even the most meagre of photographic talents like mine. Great fun to work with, I would not hesitate to work with her again. For the first time in ages I am looking forward to the post production.

I had been looking forward to working with Tanya for a while and she was worth a little wait.

I'll admit that I was after her for her body, which is exceptional, but I didn't expect a talented, capable and very professional model too.

Our first-booked shoot was postponed due to circumstances beyond control but she handled that very professionally, letting me know immediately that there may be a problem then updating me when it became clear we'd need to reschedule, these things happen and the way they are handled makes a huge difference, I had no hesitation in rearranging.

Pre-shoot communication was excellent, she immediately understood what I needed and what I was trying to achieve with this project, then she gave me exactly what I needed (unusually I had to do little more than point&shoot once the details had been reviewed), as well as being very easy to get along with in-person as she had been by email.

At the end of the shoot I booked another with her before she left, which due to the productivity level I found with her will probably be enough to complete her part in this project.

I'd recommend her to anyone without hesitation, clearly she has a talent for fitness themes but she also understands more artistic projects and is very good at adapting her body/posing.

I had the good fortune to shoot with Tanya last month and I am so glad we had the chance to spend a day together chatting and shooting.

Tanya impressed me from the moment we met as I found her a very intelligent, open and interesting person, practical and easy to get on with. I felt like I was meeting an old friend and as well a very enjoyable shoot we talked about anything and everything and had put the world to rights before she took her leave, much later than she may have intended with a long car journey ahead of her.

As regards the shoot, pre-shoot communication was excellent and Tanya was happy to try all the ideas I suggested - showing all the energy and dedication you might expect from someone used to the discipline of sports training. She is much more than a fitness model however and her love and understanding of fine-art ensures an enthusiastic response to artistic concepts and themes.

I am looking forward to shooting with her again very soon.

JK-SW & I had been planning this shoot for way too long, and at last we got the job done with the help of Tanya Fitness.

Pre-comms were flawless, she came massively prepared, and was so easy to work with. She's a real good laugh, knowledgeable, and professional. I really enjoyed working with her. She's a very dedicated to whatever she pursues and this shines through. Would be more than happy to work with her again.

An epic day spent in the studio, lots of laughs, great conversation and having seen the edits for selection a lot of great shots to pick from, the connection is just perfect in the images.

Definitely Recommended :)

Magnificent Makeup

I worked with Tanya for the first time today. She is a joy to work with, She is laid back, bubbly and funny. She had lots of outfits and accessories. She really is a pleasure to work with and I hope we get to work together again.

WOW, Tanya made the journey from Derby to Gloucester to work with us and Diego on a theme that has been a long time in the planning, they worked brilliantly together too. What can we say - Tanya's communications pre shoot were excellent, she contributed to the shoot theme and went to the trouble of ensuring her nails etc were sorted pre shoot.

Tanya arrived with a huge case and a bag with plenty of items of clothing (some sourced specifically for this shoot) we had discussed this in length and shared a mood board and she definitely ensured she had the correct clothing.

After a short time in make up she was raring to go, it was our first couple shoot and we couldn't have asked for a better model to work with on this theme. Tanya is funny, chatty, not afraid to give input into the shoot and she needed no direction at all - she knows what she is doing!!

The shoot flew by the 5 hours went in a flash, we got through a tremendous amount in that time. We are so pleased with the outcome - now we have the difficult task of choosing the edits, what a problem to have :)

We would definitely, whole heartedly and without any shadow of doubt recommend Tanya to any photographer, studio or model and look forward to working with her again - SOON!!!!

We welcomed Tanya to the studio for the first time, she arrived very well prepared, worked bloody hard and was a great help in shifting the props around the studio.

We would definitely recommend Tanya to any photographer or studio.

Had a great shoot with Tanya. She arrived very well prepared, pre shoot comms very were good and a clear plan was formed before we even met up. She is in superb shape and looks after her body in a very methodical manner. Her body building background really shows and it was a pleasure to shoot with her. Easy going and very professional too.

Tanya takes direction well and can also work very well with out interaction.

I had the great pleasure of working with Tanya for the second time last month. As ever communication from first contact through post shoot was excellent. She always arrives on time, with a smile and bags of great outfits. Although known for her fitness modelling, fit being the right word, when in lingerie based shots the tonality of her body just gives the image a certain oopmph... I have captured some real keepers for my portfolio and look forward to working with this totally professional model again very soon. I can not recommend her highly enough.

Tanya and I recently worked together on a collaborative shoot at my home. What a positive experience. Tanya is beyond disciplined and her preparation is astoundingly efficient. The wardrobe selection she provided on the day would have theoretically allowed us to shoot non-stop for days. A complete luxury.

I perceived Tanya as an extremely resourceful, capable person. Her fitness background was so apparent when working with her. She possesses fantastic strength and control so that if a particular pose was suggested that would normally be of a high degree of difficulty she managed to execute it effortlessly. Of course, it only appeared to be effortless. A great deal of skill was required.

In closing, I feel extremely lucky to have worked with Tanya and I was extremely satisfied with the shoot.

Pre-shoot communications were good and she turned up bang on time for the shoot.

Tanya is a confident, relaxed and highly experienced model who needs absolutely no direction - although responds perfectly when it is given. She has a fantastic body (as you would expect from a bodybuilder) and a personality to match - we had a lot of laughs during the shoot. We produced some great images together and, to be honest, four hours disappeared in the blink of an eye leaving so much more to do. Tanya responed to casting I put out to shoot against different coloured backgrounds I'd ordered. Which didn't arri in time for our shoot. All communication was spot on with Tanya arriving to shoot on time with a suitcase full of outfits. This was a first for me to shoot with a women with great athletic body and muscle definition. The shoot progressed from fashion to art nude over 4hrs. Tanya happily taking direction and posing effortlessly. Tanya is easy to get along with we chatted for the whole shoot which made the 4hrs go by quickly and enjoyable. Happily recommend Tanya to amature and experienced photographers. With all her experience in modeling Tanya will suit many genre of styles.
