Paul has contacted me for a group shoot at his studio for a camera club. I had a great 3 hours shoot with everyone.

Paul was a great teacher giving clear technical explanations and how to direct a model. I have learnt myself a lot even not being a photographer. He encouraged the photographers to interact with me as the model and give me some directions despite being the first studio shoot for lots of them.

The session went very well and Paul - and his co-owner Gwil - were a delight to work with. Communication was easy and they made sure I was feeling comfortable in their studio.

I would definitely recommend to anyone who wish to hire Studio38 or use the services of Paul or Gwil. Thank you!

I have shot at Studio38 twice now, with a third booking coming up. The studio is packed full of everything you need, and Paul, Dave and Gwil are all very friendly and helpful. I had a few lighting questions last time I visited and their knowledge, and willingness to provide, it is top notch. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone!

What a fantastic studio! Everything you need only it’s all organised and easy to access rather than cluttering the studio space. The separate changing area which is big enough to open and see what you need out of your case. Warm and cosy with a tea and coffee station.. perfect touch! I had my third shoot here today with Will22 and will most definitely be back very soon.

Had my first shoot here as a workshop. Everyone was fab and it was organised well. I felt comfortable and had fun in different outfits while photographers got to practice taking shots. Everyone was friendly and well mannered. Look forward to coming back in the future

Attended a Group Shoot here for the first time this evening, had a great time ! There appeared to be slightly more models than photographers and as such, I spent almost all the evening shooting, no sitting around waiting unlike most Group Shoots. Everyone at the event was very friendly and chatty, and there were other debutants beside myself. Advice flowed freely, from our two hosts and from the visiting togs. Great evening, will be attending again ! Thanx to all who attended for excellent company !

I had the pleasure of attending Studio 38 for an event, Paul and Gwill are an amazing guys, they had patience with me and nothing was to much trouble for them. A very chilled and relaxed atmosphere to work in. Not only did they take time out to help me understand more about the style I was shooting but also gave me lots of tips on how to utilise my equipment to be more effective. An amazing studio, highly recommended to all levels of photographers and models. Look forward to going back soon. Thanks guys 😊

Just had a shoot for the first time at this fab studio..

It’s warm and feels comfortable, there’s a separate changing area with table and electricity points, full length mirrors!

Drinks and snacks on offer which is always good.

There are various props and pieces of furniture for use.

I would definitely plan on using the studio again.

What a fantastic studio.

It has everything you need and is warm.

I had the pleasure of having a studio day at Studio38 and it went incredibly well.

All down to Paul and Gwill of course who worked their socks off all day coming up with some fantastic lighting concepts that made each photographer some unique and great images. Everyone who attended the day was over the moon including me. One happy model here. Even though I probably did use up their coffee supply.

No honestly this studio has everything you need. From easy parking to help from Paul and Gwill and lots of props too.

I hope to return soon.

A wonderful day at this superbly equipped studio with Paul and Gwill.

I only had one hour there to shoot with KarenR and thought I might hopefully get a couple of good shots. With help from Paul and Gwill, I got far more good shots than any photographer deserves to get in one hour.

They know their lighting gear so well - if you tell them what mood and look you want to capture, they set up the lighting to your requirements in just a few seconds. No time is wasted, and they will adjust lighting angles for you whilst you carry on shooting.

Their teamwork is exemplary, their adherence to social distancing is admirable and their sense of humour is brilliant.

I enjoyed every second of the shoot and their assistance and guidance made this a remarkable shoot rather than just a very good one.

Thank you guys, it was a real pleasure working with you today.

Another shoot at studio38 for a 1-2-1 with Ezme Florence. Was a lovely shoot. Paul and Gwil were very helpful with advice and supporting me. The atmosphere was brilliant and I would be surprised if they ever run out of tea and biscuits as its always available there.

Everyone there was really helpful and friendly to work with and easy to get along with, Pree coms were amazing and all the information needed for the shoot was provided before hand with time to prepare :)

I applied for a studio evening through a casting and from the beginning Paul was brilliant with communication. On the day both Gwil and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The photographers who came along were all a great group and we had a really fun evening and I’ve also got some fab shots. I’d love to work with them and again and would Definitely recommend. A very big thank you to both Paul and Gwil for making our shoot at Studio38 so enjoyable and such good fun. Anne and I loved every minute and got some amazing shots. Although it was a cold, wet and miserable day outside the studio was very warm and welcoming. It was really great to have two experts on hand to help with lighting, props and creative suggestions. Had my first shoot with paul yesterday at his studio in Birkenhead.

This was my 2nd time at one of his networking events.

We managed to squeeze a few shots in at the end of the shoot.

His effort and all the running round he done definitely paid off.

Brilliant turn out for both models and photographers.

The event was great i managed to even get some great shots with the other models there this time.

Highly reccomend him to any models and other photographers that are looking at going to one of his events.

Will be at the next one for sure in January.

Had the opportunity to work with Studio 38 on a UV group Shoot. Pre communications were excellent and The shoot itself was very fun and relaxed! All the photographers were extremely professional and the pictures turned out ace! Would highly recommend.
