We are a portrait photography studio in Birkenhead run by Paul Dulac and Gwil Roberts. We host regular group shoots, networking evenings and workshops. We also run a unique and VERY competitive “Resident Photographer” rental scheme but the studio is still available to hire by the hour.

The studio is approximately 5m x 10m with a high ceiling and includes various paper, printed vinyl and material backdrops, 1 x 500w Elinchrom, 1 x 400w Elinchrom, 1 x 200w Elinchrom and 4 x 200w Interfit digital monolights. There are various modifiers including beauty dishes, large strip boxes, octoboxes, softboxes, 5ft parabolic white umbrella, barn doors, snoot, grids, gels, etc. There are also several daylight-balanced fluorescent continuous lights with softboxes and a pair of RGB led lights for video work. The studio also has a separate staging area equipped with a changing booth, lit dress mirror, makeup station with a ring light, clothes rack, props and seating area. We also have a photogenic black velvet chaise longue, fold-out sofa bed, posing tubs, stools, work desk, tea and coffee, toilets, etc.

The studio is now available to hire for £20ph (minimum booking of 2 x hrs). The Resident Photographer Scheme costs just £50 per month and in return, you get a 4 hour booking every week Tuesday to Friday and now including Sundays too! That's an average of less than £3 per hour!!!
