Many things in life can parasitize your creative mind and your happiness. A few things have made this month hard for me. For one, I was involved in a motorway car crash and was lucky to walk out alive. Although the experience was traumatic, I'm deeply grateful for what I have and it puts into perspective what is important to me. Recovery has been tough but I'm on the mend. A few days after the crash a friend passed away. He was an absolute powerhouse of young talent, headlining psychedelic festivals around the world (Occular if you're interested in some absolute blasters). The hardest part is seeing the hurt in my loved ones. Along with this, I've had to fit in two months worth of work into one.

However, this month has also brought me a great deal of growth. I have met some intensely inspiring people. For example, I worked with mental health advocate and creative genius @GinaHarrison and her realness, progressiveness and kindness touched me. It was amazing to meet someone with such beaming enthusiasm yet such intricate mindfulness in every image taken. She certainly taught me a thing or two. I have also tutored in photography this month, which has given me an untapped amount of confidence in my work and self worth. A few of my favourite images were bought by the supergroup @soenmusic, a Swedish band that I adore and one is gracing the covers of their new album which has recently been released. I also have a book cover by bestselling author Rosalind Noonan that has just been released.

The feeling of emotions taking over me but the ability for our nature to carry on and grow inspired me to create this image. The aesthetics were also inspired by a digital painter I admire very much, called @YuriShwedoff. Expect a lot more images to be released soon. I finally have a real life laptop to edit on (as opposed to a toy laptop that can barely turn itself on). Life will always throw dirt at us but we have the ability to flourish.
