Hot air ballooning over the South Lake District.

Landscape photography is often more about luck than anything else, getting the elements, which you do not control to line up...I can tell you the frustration of trekking to the same location 3 times on an expected good sunset, only for it to cloud over just as the sun drops, and then the day after you leave that area (perhaps for good), to have super sunsets....Anyhow this photo is pleasing for me, the balloon was well positioned as were the people in the distance which give the photo scale, the elements lined up somewhat. The location is around Arnside, indecently...where the people are standing are effectively in Morecambe bay, last year when I was at this location a lady got stuck by the rising tide (it is very flat and can outrun anyone). She was only about 100 meters from safety but was cut off, within 5 mins it was up to her knees. I phoned it in and 1 helicopter, 2 fire engines, 1 ambulance and one hovercraft soon arrived to rescue her, and her small dog she was holding.
