Minky the Sphynx Cat. Sadly Minky went to sleep on 6 Nov (2015) after developing a heart condition that was affecting her breathing and my daughter Jade (Minky was her cat) and I agreed that we shouldn't subject Minky to separation from Jade for unnecessary tests, when the diagnosis was already clear. Minky had only a very limited time left, and any separation and being away from home would have become distressing and painful for her. Jade and I cuddled her, stroked her and talked gently to her as the vet administered the drugs and she went to sleep so peacefully, calmly and gracefully, just as she had lived. We were both heartbroken as Minky was just such an absolute sweetheart. She used to climb inside my bodywarmer late at night and go to sleep on my chest, warm and content, purring away. We miss her greatly. RIP beautiful lady. We miss you.
