It was a pleasure to finally shoot with Ian yesterday. We have been in contact for months but Covid put a spanner in the works with regards to us shooting. Ian was fabulous, had scouted a great location. Communication was amazing, he was really involved and enthusiastic when planning which is always a positive for me. Super professional and relaxed, extremely easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

I had my second shoot with Ian earlier this week. It had been a while since we last worked together, but he contacted me as he had a client who wanted to work somewhere nearby to where I live. I'm glad I was available that day as it was a fun shoot!

Ian is very easy to work with and has a good eye for the shots. He makes sure he takes the time to get the shot right and doesn't just click away senselessly.

From what I've seen on the back of the camera, the shots worked well. I can't wait to see them :)

I had a fantastic workshop day with Ian at a beautiful house in the Peak District. I had the opportunity to model in a variety of different styles with several photographers over the course of the day, as Ian made sure everyone had a chance to make the most of all the different locations and work with me one-on-one. Ian is a generous and positive person, made everyone feel comfortable, offered help and suggestions when needed and also let people do their own thing. I've worked with Ian twice now and find him a great person to collaborate with. I hope to work with him in the future and highly recommend him to other models, as well as to photographers interested in workshops

This was my second shoot with ian,yet again a true professional in his approach to getting the images he wanted.Gave me clear direction as to what he wanted which i find really inspiring and helpful. I really enjoy working with Ian and I know this wont be the last time. We have more shoots in the pipe line and I cant wait.

I had a lovely shoot with Ian last month at a beautiful house in the Peak District. It was bodypainting shoot for his book Liberated Ladies, for which we enlisted the help of a professional painter and combined this with my own paint work. Pre-comms and preparation were some of the best I've ever had - Ian picked me up the day before to go and choose the paint for the shoot. He welcomed my input and explained his aims very clearly. On the day of the shoot Ian was very positive and enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. I felt very 'myself' and enjoyed every minute of our collaboration. I'm looking forward to modelling for a masterclass at the same location again in May. I highly recommend other models work with Ian and also any photographers interested in attending a workshop with a very experienced photographer. :-)

I had a great shoot with Ian yesterday for his 'liberated ladies' project and we shot some art nude pictures with a twist as they reflected my personality and interests in a creative way. Pre-communication was good and overall had a fun shoot and would highly reccomend.

Ian was my first official shoot I have had. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The weather was perfect and the location was beautiful. Ian sent some of the results through yesterday and I love them. Hopefully he will want to use them in his future publication. He was very professional and knew what he wanted. Hopefully I can work with him again as I would without a hesitation. I fully recommend anyone thinking about doing a nude shoot to work with Ian.

My wife and I met Ian for a shoot. His main aim was to photograph her. We did some joint photos and we are really impressed with the results. He had some really good ideas and access to a perfect outdoor location.More important than all that Ian is a really nice guy and makes you feel at ease. Aurora Absolutly loved every minute of it and is already talking about shooting again with Ian. During the shoot I was asked to photograph him at work and I hope he likes the working photos enough to use them. We spoke of a duo shoot in the future,with Aurora and another model. This is my first real venture into the world of model photography and I hope all the people I meet come up to Ians high standard.

I shot with Ian a few weeks ago as part of his "Liberated Ladies" project after initially contacting him about working together as I really liked his style of portraiture. Pre-shoot communications were excellent and Ian was very professional sending over a release form and making sure I had arranged a chaperone in advance.

What I found impressive was that he took time before shooting to have a chat with me and get to know me a bit which informed the different shots we tried out. We had talked about dance before but on arrival Ian had a good look at my bookshelf and saw me as an academic as well!

Ian had loads of different ideas to try out during our time together and I love the "messy hair" shots he took of me -- normally I love my hair looking straight and smooth :-)

Ian is very easy to work with. I had fun and we got some great images (from what I can tell off the back of the camera). I can't wait to see the finished result. Highly recommended :) would love to work with Ian again.

Had my second shoot with ian today in my home! The theme was mermaid and he was very good at directing the poses as i didn't have a clue how to pose with a mermaid tail! The first shoot we did was also mermaid themed but that time was underwater! Both shoots were fun and Ian was friendly and professional throughout, highly reccomended!

Ian is a fantastic photographer. Talented and knowledgeable, with a keen eye for the finer details. When shooting in my home Ian was very professional, warm and friendly. I feel the shoot went well and i am very pleased with the finished images. Great collaboration, would certainly recommend.

Such an amazing photographer! ! I did something out of my comfort zone and he made me feel such at ease I didn't bat an eyelid of being nervous! ! I cannot wait to see the results couldn't recommend him more! !

Had a most enjoyable full day shoot with Ian shooting at my home for his Liberated Ladies project - a sort of portrait in situ concept, showing models relaxed in their own environs and capturing their essence both style and character wise. In addition to being highly personable, professional and prepared - Ian IMHO takes outstanding photos.

He very clearly knows what he is doing technically as one of the most highly qualified photographers in the country -able to to adapt effortlessly to different lighting conditions and settings etc etc but more importantly due to his ability to develop a rapport seemingly effortlessly - he is genuinely VERY interested in the people he photographs and their lives - he captures something many other photographers cannot and this gives his photos a quality that is "special".

He is also very generous when it comes to sharing his knowledge and expertise. I learnt a LOT from our session with his pointers on everything from hand position and how to how to pose more elegantly with various props to the business side of modelling. I basically cannot recommend Ian highly enough and cannot wait to work with him again in future. Thank-you Ian.
