I had my first shoot with Mark today and it was a great experience from start to finish.

Mark is very personable and an absolute delight to work alongside. Very flexible, helpful and thoughtful. Arrived early and ready to shoot and had other props / clothing available if required.

I learnt a massive amount from working with Mark and cannot thank him enough for that.

It would be great to work alongside Mark again in the near future and I would highly recommend Mark to fellow photographers or models.

Thank you Mark for your skills, effort and good humour.

Had my first shoot with Mark today and it didn’t disappoint. I had wanted to shoot with Mark for a while and it was definitely worth the wait.

Mark is a great guy and happy to do as asked to get the shot. He bought into my ideas and took direction well, although he is perfectly capable of posing on his own.

I will absolutely shoot with him again and hopefully soon.

Had the most spectacular photoshoot with Mark yesterday and what can I say but WOW wow WOW and wow; it was incedible. Such a versatile model. Pre-shoot coms were spot on, such a gentleman to work with and such a good model. If you're looking for a warrior-type look, steampunk look, western-type look or thickly bearded gentleman look, Santa; you name it he does it. I can't say enough good about him :) He is very professional and puts 120% effort into delivery for you. Fully recommended without any hesitation. He is superb :)

Mark put out a casting call for the following day which we arranged and Mark kept in touch and replied right away so we were able to arrange the next days shoot easily.

Mark is an absolute star, we did some studio work then an outdoor shoot, where he was able to follow direction and also able to come up with ideas too. Super easy to talk to and to photograph, he has great costumes and the right attitude making photographing him a real pleasure.

I would definitely recommend Mark and hope to work with him again in the near future.

I had the pleasure of working with Silverbeard at a group shoot at the Old Cemetery today. This is the first time that I had worked with Mark. He was a pleasure to be around. Nothing is too much trouble for this man. He went above and beyond to help us 'get that shot' Mark takes direction well and adds his own creative ideas to the shoot. He arrived ready for action and gave us the works. A hit with all of the photographers and a a jolly good guy. I would highly recommend SIlverbeard. Really looking forward t the images. Great day today with Mark. He commits 100% to the shoot and delivered a sterling performance capturing the warrior spirit. He took direction extremely well and came up with great ideas for shots, yes, we did get axe chips. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Great character and perfect for the work I am making. As well as the outdoor work I needed for my project we made some head shots in the studio, I am super pleased with those.

Mark is an excellent communicator and kept me informed on his not short journey to me. He arrived spot on time and we finished at the appointed hour.

I definitely would recommend Mark to those looking for a narrative driven shoot or some classic gritty portraiture.

The first time I worked with Mark was during a group photoshoot that took place at the Glasgow Necropolis in September 2021. Mark is an excellent model. He was easy to communicate with and was very professional in his approach, making it effortless to work with him. Mark has a very good understanding of how to express a wide range of unique poses but is also very willing and enthusiastic to follow the photographer’s direction. I had achieved excellent results from our collaboration within a short amount of time. Mark has a great passion for his modelling craft, and I highly recommend other photographers take the opportunity to work with him if possible.

Mark and I have started a conversation to create a pirate themed portfolio. The entire process of planing and communication with Mark has been efficient, professional and simply enjoyable! I have worked with Mark in conjunction with my wife Cindy on two occasions, on both of these Mark arrived in plenty of time before the shoot. Mark is a joy to work with, in every sense of the word. From his impeccable grooming to his attitude to work which is second to none.

Sometimes what you see is what you get, but with Mark, it is more of what it is you can imagine, you will get.

This was my first shoot since lockdown 1, so from my perspective it was important to get back in the groove.

This was a collaborative shoot with Mark ( Silverbeard1 ) and Anna ( Anna301) and was loosely themed around a noir 50s/60/s Spy theme, but we then did a series of individual shoots in similar costume .

Mark is new to this but you couldn't tell from his approach which is very professional and he brings life experience and an enquiring mind to the shoot. So he will bring lots posing ideas of his own as well as taking direction well.

I need to say, he is much more as a model than his beard ! Ok that is wonderful, but he has a natural acting skill that will cause him to adapt to your needs regardless of the theme.

He is also a really nice guy, worked in a supportive and respectful fashion with his female colleague and was happy to support the shoot ( it was on location ) by setting up lights etc.

The 4 hours went by in a flash .

I'd love to work with Mark again and he is going to make some wonderful images with folks on Purpleport
