Had the pleasure of working with shoemoster today, it was a home shoot, but very warm, welcoming & chatty.

She was a delight to work with & I will definitely shoot with her again when we can.

2nd Curtain Photography

Finally organised a shoot with Jo, which has been a little difficult due to Covid restrictions.

We had a lovely shoot at my studio. Jo's comms were spot on, she arrived on time & ready to go.

We had a great chat before & during our shoot & this always makes the shoot pass quickly.

We did a number of sets from retro 20's - 40's polka dot dressses, which I always think look beautiful :) We then did some Film Noir style shots for some black & white looks.

Jo also saw my arial hoop at the studio & decided she would have a go on that too, which was fun :)

All in all a lovely shoot & great personality. Recommended.

Jo and I arranged a local retro fashion shoot just before shut down . Good comm/s and a fun shoot . we had allowed for changing near the site.Good light that afternoon and i think we managed some nice images.. We are both happy with the outcome .. Will look forward to mare shoots with Jo next year , I recommend "Shoe monster"to all memnbers, easy to work with and and an eye for detail.. Fingers crossed for a much better 2021 , Ray ,, Thanks Jo !

Shot fashion with the Shoemonster at her home, but by pre-arranged and clear communication we shot vintage/retro styles. We stared with 1920's period costume and shot up through the decades to the 1960's. Jo's make-up and accessories matched these periods, and the house contained a variety of props that we pulled in as necessary during the shoot. Very enjoyable day with Jo supplying a light lunch and copious amounts of coffee. Would definitely shoot with Jo again, possibly also with photographer/model husband Mark, and we are now discussing ideas for a location shoot if and when the current local Covid regulations so allow.

NEO-NOIR IMAGES

An accomplished experienced model who I had the pleasure of working with at her home on a vintage noir project. Jo has numerous outfits and....shoes!!

This had taken months to plan and to develop storyboards for the shoot. The communications were excellent. Her home was the perfect location for this.

A pleasure to work with Jo took direction really well and we will be shooting together again.....oh and the lunch totally hit the spot after a long drive!

Shoemaster was forthcoming with pre-shoot communication and put forward some good ideas as to theme and content. She had a great selection of wardrobe and well applied makeup.

Naturally arrived at poses and followed direction well.

I had the pleasure of my first shoot with Jo today and she was wonderful. Her pre-comms were first class and she turned up on time, ready to shoot. We had a 50's themed shoot in a park and Jo was full of energy as we worked together to create fantastic shots in a range of locations. Jo's warm, friendly and easy going nature made a shoot a joy and time just flies by when you are with her. She's full of creative ideas and is always striving to help you make the best image possible. I'd highly recommend her to any photographer out there and I hope to work with her again in the future :)

What a fabulous shoot with Jo. It took months for us to get our diaries in sync and we made some fab images. Jo is a bundle of energy who works hard to get the shot. She is very creative and seeks out the new angle. Her home is stuffed with props and she even has a baby grand which we used to the max. Highly recommended.

I worked with Shoemonster recently at a group shoot event local to me. She has a marvellous personality, poses gracefully and takes direction equally as well. I was lucky enough to work with Shoemonster in a great shoot at Haden Hill She was great to work with unfortunately for me I didn’t spend enough time with her as I would’ve liked because it was a Group shoot but hopefully I’ll work with her again in the future.

Todays shoot with shoemonster was a great one dispite the lack of a good forecast, fortunately the location was well sheltered from the rain and made for some great shots.

She takes direction well, had brought both ideas and several changes of clothing too.

I would happily work with her again!
