Kevin and I connected on Instagram to work together and we made it happen, thankfully.

We worked with a male model who Kevin and I have worked with historically.

Upon meeting Kevin, I was pleasantly surprised how welcoming and warm he was/is.. we talked about outfits, timings and where to shoot beforehand.

Kevin guided when needed and we worked so well together. I have seen some of the images and I am so happy we captured great individual and duo shots.

I worked with Kevin on a duo shoot with another girl he provided lots of props and outfits. His comms before hand and during the shoot were straight forward. We got on really well and could easily share ideas. I would happily work with him again! Lots of shoot ideas !

Another shoot with Shelly, this time I met him at a location he was staying at near Bristol. I love shooting with him, we get on ready well, I can 100% be myself around him, relax, talk open and honestly to him with no judgment and always get an honest opinion or answer back AND he takes amazing images! Always shares images with me and with them edited to a decent standard in no time. What I love most about shooting with Shelly is the range of styles we cover particularly in terms of fashion and how he always has something new and different to add to the shoot. His style is great as are some of the different locations we've visited. Can't recommend him enough. Top bloke and tog. Big love!

Return to The X factory Studio to shoot with Kevin...

Kevin is always kind enough to meet me outside the studio and is always a gentleman to offer me a helping hand with my bags.

We worked on a variety of different looks/ sets throughout the day and filled the space nattering away together.

We had a wonderful shoot together and Kevin was even kind enough to let me use the studio after out set.

Always a delight to work together! :)

Pre communication was brilliant and I finally got to have my first shoot with Kevin after the train strikes being a pain! Wow what a fantastic time I had! Kevin is so lovely and down to earth we got some awesome images from our shoot together. I so can’t wait for the next! It’s hard to choose my favourite images. Highly recommended by me.

I really enjoyed meeting and working with Kevin (Shelly) for the first time during my first studio days at his exceptional urbex space The X Factory in Stoke-on-trent during my recent tour of the East Midlands. 😁

Kevin booked me for some of my time at his studio and I am so happy he did. We had such a fun and very productive shoot with Kevin having so many awesome ideas and enthusiasm capturing an outstanding mixture from clothed to nude images using the wonderful light coming in.

He is an excellent and knowledgeable photographer, respectful, kind and helpful also making sure your comfortable and happy plus also safe.

Our shoot absolutely flew by and I was so excited for each different set we did in all the super areas the studio has to offer with superb results.

Kevin was an amazing host during my studio days at The X Factory and I was so pleased with our time shooting together.

So highly recommended to all creatives.

Finally, after years of communication, we managed to shoot together this week at his Studio in Stoke on Trent.

Kevin was quick and clear on pre communication. He picked me up from station to drive to the studio.

First time at his studio too, I was amazed by the space. It offers lots of choices and plenty of natural light.

We shoot different sets, using different area of the studio using that wonderful window light. Kevin was was offering great posing suggestions and still he allowed me to express myself.

Truly enjoyed shooting together and the images created are beautiful !! Very happy with results.

Lovely person, friendly, creative and passionate on his photography. I hope to work together again soon and I definitely recommend him :)

We arranged a shoot together at his studio, very simple communications leading up to shoot and a very easy going lovely guy. Being new to modelling Shelly made me feel at ease straight away. He helped me throughout the shoot with poses and ideas and we created some great images together. Great photographer using natural light with amazing effect for the whole shoot. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for next time! Highly recommend.

offered drinks and it was a straight forward shoot with many rooms to shoot in the studio with lots of prop to choose from even though I brought my own.

Spent a couple of days shooting with this lovely person and photographer. We shot at my home and some outside locations- covering styles from fashion to adult and stills and video. I've worked with Kevin a fair amount of times before now but never on outside location and nothing changed. Throughout he was totally respectful had a great eye for lighting, framing and considered all the surroundings. I love working with him, we get on really well and seem to work really we together too. Great content created and shared and many more planned. I'd totally recommend him to all other creatives. This is a friend in the industry. See you soon x

I had my first shoot with Kevin as I haven't shot with him before. It was Absolutely amazing such a lovely guy with a cool personality. It was really worth the travel from London to Stoke on tend to his studio the x factory. He has some amazing outfits and is really good at directing. I cant wait to come back to shoot with kev and to do a studio day . 100% recommended to all models he makes you feel really comfortable and confident
