My second shoot with Alan and I certainly hope that there will be a third....!! Having met Alan recently I was thrilled when he asked about a second shoot. He had some great ideas and it was easy to organise as before.

Alan arrived on time at Basford Hurst Cottage and after a chat and catch up over a cuppa we began shooting. As this was our second shoot together we had to of course make it better than the first.... and... I think we absolutely did!!! We shot a range of sets including some outside in the woodland and many inside using the natural light. Alan was happy for me to pose freely and I absolutely loved working with him through a range of emotions, feelings and poses. We captured SO many lovely images I just don't know how Alan was going to chose which ones to edit haha!

Once again Alan comes highly recommended from me and I look forward to seeing him again for more laughs, more fun and to create more wonderful images! Thank you once again for a great shoot Alan!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Alan contacted our studio owner and resident model Miss C (Leanne) to organise a shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage. Despite the long journey, including train delays and a very lost taxi driver, that did not deter him and Alan arrived to Basford with a smile on his face and after a coffee and a chat began working with Leanne.

Throughout his time here at Basford he was completely respectful of our location and always happy to ask if he needed anything. He worked hard in many of our shooting areas to capture many wonderful images.

Alan is polite, fun to have around and a really wonderful photographer (as seen by many of his beautiful images here on PP). It goes without saying we would highly reccomend him and do hope to see him back again soon!!! Thank you so much for coming to Basford Hurst Cottage Alan!!

I contacted Alan a while ago to see if he would be interested in organising a shoot with me at Basford Hurst Cottage photography location. Having admired Alan's work for a long time I was thrilled he wanted to work with me!! Despite it being a long journey for Alan that did not put him off and all pre comms were great. He gave me some ideas of the sort of themes he wanted to work around and I knew from messaging him that this was going to be a great shoot!!

Alan arrived to Basford with everything he needed and after a chat and a look around the location we began shooting together. I felt instantly relaxed with Alan and spent the majority of the shoot laughing about the last silly thing either he or I said... We bounced around lots of ideas and Alan was happy for me to pose freely (once I had found the light.... ;) ;) Haha!!!). We worked through sets including some fashion, portraiture, artistic nude and an equestrian themed set. Every time Alan worked hard to capture many wonderful images from lots of different angles. I was thrilled with what I saw on the back of the camera!!!

Working with Alan was so much fun and I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Alan was completely respectful of me and my space and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. It goes without saying that I would HIGHLY reccomend a shoot with this lovely gentleman and I do hope to work with him again one day soon!!! Thank you so much Alan!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Alan again during a recent studio day at Digbyland Studio in Hackney. His pre shoot communications were great, responding well to my questions and then providing me with some outfit suggestions to bring.

During the shoot itself, he was polite, professional and friendly. It felt like catching up with an old friend. We jumped straight into the shoot and worked our way around the studio, capturing lots of gorgeous images. He was respectful of me at all times and I felt very comfortable.

Alan's eye for photography and detail is clear to see as he happily adjusted his settings to accommodate the weather and we worked in sync to get great images.

I'd happily recommend Alan and look forward to working with him in the future.

Yesterday, I had an amazing shoot with Alan at my place

He is what I call a true light artist!

He works with natural light only and was honestly quite challenged on that dark, greyish day. But what he made out of the situation was just amazing and full of emotions.

On top of all mentioned above, Alan is a great person with whom it was also amazing to chat.

Had my first shoot with Alan today at The Factory in the central London. We got on straight away. He was lovely, chatty and relaxed during the whole shoot. We got some lovely shots and I'm really looking forward to seeing them. I'll definitely work with Alan again!!!!

I had an amazing shoot with Alan yesterday.

It was a shoot at my place and I was truly fascinated how fast Alan spotted THE IDEAL shooting place. His eye for composition and lighting is superb; our session included a mix of portraits, quirky and beautiful fashion and some topless/edgy shots.

Time was flying; we created more and more shooting ideas and literally had to force ourselves to stop. I seldom had a shooting where I looked at images on the back of the camera and could only say WOW.

Alan is next to his amazing photography a wonderful personality with whom you could chat forever; and we had lots of fun which definitely contributed to more creativity.

I highly recommend every model to shoot with this photographer if you want to push your portfolio to the next level.

What a wonderful shoot I had with Alan! This was our first time shooting together, at my home for 4 hours. Not only did we get some really pure and wonderful naturally lit images but the shoot was very wholesome and I must say that Alan is a joy to be around. It truly as a great day and I feel this is reflected in our work together. I had a delightful shoot with Alan the other day. We shot lots of natural light in Aura studios, varying the outfits, from long gowns, casual denim and sportswear for shapes.

He knows his way around the windows and the natural light and was completely professional and respectful throughout. Time flew by and he is genuinely an absolute wonderful person to talk to.

Had a really awesome shoot with the lovely Allan during my recent tour to Kent at my hired apartment.

Prior to shooting pre-communication was absolutely excellent and everything was super easy to plan and organise.

On the day of shooting the lovely Allan arrived promptly and was ready to shoot. He was really friendly and put me at ease. We shot a variety of really cool looks and themes together as time flew by and I loved how easy going Allan was and he also gave me some time to shine when it came to styling too. He’s already added some images to purple port and I’m really pleased with the results that we managed to achieve together. Some really lovely stuff.

110% recommended!! Such a fab shoot I’d love to shoot with Allan again in the future he’s a pleasure to work with and a joy to be around.
