Welcome to our portfolio!

We are a husband and wife team who are enthusiastic about having fun with photography and editing as well as improving our work. If we've sent you a friend request it's because we like your portfolio and style and we want to keep you as a contact for possible future work. Currently We are working on improving our portfolio by producing a book of boudoir portraits which we intend to sell to raise money for charity. As a side project, Aaron is working on a Cosplay/Nude idea with the Gotham Sirens. Cat woman is a working progress but I'm looking for Harley Quinn (blonde hair, blue eyes) and Poison Ivy (natural redhead and body paint). Message me if you think you fit the role and are interested. Description Our photography is varied from beautiful landscapes to capturing intimate portraits. We have experience in wedding and boudoir photography. Why come to Purple Port? We take photos for fun and we would like to meet like-minded people who are themselves looking to build upon their portfolios or just enjoy having their photo taken. We normally look for TFP as it is a hobby and we are not out to make a profit. Website We're working on a website, but for now, take a look at our Facebook page. https://[url removed] Our Equipment Currently we're using a mid-range Nikon D5000 with a variety of lenses. The Sigma 10-20mm, Nikon 35 & 50mm, Sigma 17-70mm and Tamron 70-200mm. We have a make shift home studio with a few umbrella lights and a white or black back drop. It's not glamorous, but it does the job. We have a selection of software used to edit BUT we don't believe in heavily editing an image. We will only use it to adjust lighting and colouring, occasionally using it to remove spots or bruises etc. Who are we? Basically, Aaron & Sarah. We've been married since 2012 and we have both worked together as EFL teachers since 2009. We consider ourselves as being quite creative people and this is an outlet for us. Sarah loves producing images and graphics often producing a lot of the promotional material for work and even producing all of the stationary for our wedding. She loves photography in particular candid photography. It allows her to capture natural and unique moments in time. She is very strong when it comes to editing images. Aaron has always enjoyed holding a camera but it used to be a video camera. When he got to his late teens he swapped it for a Kodak Easyshare Z650 and he started photographing everything but he particular enjoyed female portraiture. Now an 18 year old boy enjoying female portraiture, no surprise there, but it wasn't a sexual thing. To Aaron, the female body is a gift, a beautiful piece of art that he wants to capture in all its forms, not just the body, but also the soul. He has always had a comfortable relationship with women and tries to capture their personality by helping them to feel relaxed. Yet he knows he still has a long way to go both technically and artistically. Aaron had a taste of boudoir when he was in his early 20s but changes in his life meant that he didn't continue. Sarah encouraged him to take it up again and in 2011 they attempted to create a calendar in order to raise money for charity, which successful raised £600. In 2012 they decided to do it again but this time, rather than creating vector backgrounds, using a whole variety of locations and with the set theme of boudoir. We hope to produce a book and raise money for the mental health charity Re-Think, while at the same time promoting our work.
