Sam Is a true professional, his facial expressions and ability to connect and deliver on a brief were phenomenal and he is also a very approachable and likeable guy. What a nice guy. Sam is personable and professional, he arrived on time and ready to shoot. Pre shoot comms were excellent given the limited time we had. He is clearly very experienced and needed very little direction.

I have lost count how many times I've shot with Sam now however on every occasion it is always fun and like seeing an old friend again. He's great to work with, always game to try different things as well as being a true pro throughout. Sam came to the club with a range of clothes and proved a good model, adaptable to direction and able to pose on his own when none was forthcoming. I believe all the members present were more than happy with the images they got. He proved unassuming and completely at ease in front of the camera. Very easy to work with.

Two year's on - two year's too long.

Got to catch up with my friend sam on a recall from the Zombie Shoot we did.

This time round it was a photo shoot & a video shoot.

As he was the first time i met him on set he was positive polite and energetic.

Was confident in the role he was asked to do. Even with only one eye for visibility.

We had kept in touch across social media platforms and encouraged each other to push our work even further and i believe we will continue in that same mould once more.

Arrived on time. Was engaging with every one.

Proper nice bloke.

And comes highly recommended too all creatives.

Sam was one of two models on the final day of our training course. He was an absolute delight to work with which was a relief as I had never worked with a male model before.

He had some great looks and his acting skills showed through in his fantastic poses. He was great solo and duo and I thoroughly recommend him.

I worked with Sam at Aura recently. He was the best to work with on a duo shoot, he puts you at ease very quickly making posing so easy. The shoot flowed very nicely. I had the pleasure of working with Sam at an individual and couple themed midweek group shoot at Aura.

I found him extremely professional yet laid back, making him an absolute pleasure to work with. He poses effortlessly without instruction and very accommodating when asked for a specific poses.

I first met Sam at an Andrew Appleton workshop, where my experience of working with live models was limited & Sam really helped me to overcome my intitial shyness. Fast forward a few months & my own styled shoot required a male model, Sam was my first choice!

Sam was excellent on the shoot, punctual & professional at all times, funny, friendly & patient during what turned out to be a long day.

Sam's experience was extremely helpful when it came to posing the shots, helping me to nail the images required for the suppliers as quickly as was possible.

As well as being a photogenic & charming professional, Sam was a pleasure to work with, I thoroughly recommend him.

Shooting again with the extraordinary talent that is Mr Sam Dunning, I cannot recommend this guy highly enough!!

Our theme this time was Film Noir & with some lighting technical wizardry, Sam transported us back to the Hollywood era of the forties, just giving enough hints of subtle menace & suave sophistication.

I always enjoy working with Sam & I can't wait till I shoot again with this extraordinary gentleman.

Sam did two consecutive days of modelling for us this week: on our ‘Smart and Fast Speedlights for Wedding Photographers’ and our ‘Mastering Posing’ workshops - but this is not the first time we have worked together. Why is Sam our ‘go to’ male model? Well, he is totally reliable, great with his communications and extremely well organised. He arrives in good time with a choice of wardrobe items to match the brief. We have cast him in the role of bridegroom a number of times and he has also modelled on previous Posing and Location Lighting Workshops. Sam’s experience, commitment and sense of humour make him easy to direct and popular with our students. This week, he ‘married’ a new bride on each day and posed naturally and convincingly on both occasions. Sam is not only versatile, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.
