For many years I've been editing my own photographs and the photographs of me taken by others.
More recently I've begun editing other people's photographs of other people. I finally feel ready to offer this as a service.
My experience as a photographer, as a model, as my own makeup artist, and as an artist in traditional media all contribute to my methods as an image editor.
The kinds of images I specialise in editing are of people. This includes portraiture, fashion, commercial, beauty, glamour, pinup and art nude. My more elaborate editing techniques can be used to produce fantasy, surreal or abstract interpretations of images.
When editing an image, I aim to clarify and exaggerate its intended meaning.
Rates
- Retouch: Fixing and improving: - £5 per image
- Stylise: Creative enhancements and advanced fixes - £10 per image
- Arty: Complete transformation to weird and wonderful - £15 per images

Image use
Collaborating with me gives me permission to use my edits for self-promotion.
Re-edits
If after receiving the finished edits you request further changes, I will do so at no extra cost only if the specifications of the initial brief were not met. For this reason it's best to be as specific as possible about your wishes beforehand. Otherwise extra editing will cost extra!
Colour or black and white?
I currently don't charge any extra for doing both colour and monochrome versions of an edit - but this may change.
Credit
Please credit me as the retoucher wherever it's reasonable to include that much information. (On this site, that means yes please, always.)
Editing my edits
Feel free to edit the images further, but please credit yourself (or whoever is responsible) as well as me when you publish them.

When we discuss working together, I'll ask you to answer the following questions for each image, or the set as a whole if it's all the same:
- Which level of editing would you like from me? Basic retouch, advanced enhancement, or arty transformation.
- What issues or imperfections stand out to you in the image?
- Tell me something about the mood and concept you desire for the final result.
- Would you like colour, monochrome, or a version of each?
- Would you like versions with a border?
- Do I have your permission to share before-and-after comparisions of the unedited and edited picture?
- Who would you like credited in the images that I share?
