I had the pleasure to shoot with Ross for the first time. Ross was extremely nice, kind and easy going. I felt really comfortable on set as he had a professional and considerate approach, he is precise and big on details which I always appreciate, he was also relaxed and open minded. He had a great balance between giving instructions and giving me the freedom to move my own way.

We had good communication and worked really well together, the time went by very very productively, we have so much more to shoot so I am looking forward to our next time.

I absolutely recommend.

It was lovely working with Ross on the my 1st tour in Belfast. We had an excellent shoot in him studio,he host me also for few shoots with anothers photographers in him location for 3 days.

During our shoot, he was very professional and polite, allowing me to pose, whilst providing his own thoughts and ideas. Beautiful creative input, we worked through various different sets, using him amazing stylications and differents accesories from him studio.

He is master of light, one of the best what I work with.

The images look great, one of the best in my model career, can't wait when I get it 😍

I feel very comfortable in him company and he take care about me.

This was my second time working with Ross and what a treat.

As always he is attentive and ensures that I don't have to worry about anything whilst I am there except for modelling!

He is such a sweet person and his studio is warm and welcoming. He is so so so talented! You can clearly see that from his portfolio though! :)

His knowledge is unmatched and everyone walks away from his sessions with incredible images and armed with more knowledge. He is creative, funny and respectful.

I hope to be back again soon and would highly recommend working with him (either as a photographer or model!)

I was lucky enough to arrange to go over to Belfast to work with Ross in his fantastic studio.

Ross’s pre comms and efficient communication was second to none, and things ran smoothly from start to end.

Ross is a true gent, friendly and great company. He was the perfect host, and was most helpful with lifts and breaks to ensure I was fed and rested. He makes a great cup of tea also :-)

The 3 days I was there flew by, and the amount of styles covered in that time was unbelievable. I can see why people look to Ross to learn and would highly recommended him to any photographers of all levels - his knowledge is superb.

I LOVE the results, the images taken from Ross of me and absolutely loved every moment visiting.

Cannot wait to return and really appreciate the trip that was arranged.

What can I say... Ross brought me over to Belfast and his wonderful studio for 4 days of shoots including workshops and 1-2-1's. From the very start Ross communicated kindly and efficiently which put me ease instantly. Ross and his lovely wife treated me like a princess including airport pick up/drop off, lifts to and from the studio, lunch, snacks and constantly ensuring I was well rested. Throughout all of the studio days Ross was attentive and helpful to all involved but never imposed himself. His wealth of knowledge is apparent from the first second of working with him and we got some stunning images. I'm honoured to have been invited to the studio and to have worked with such lovely photographers (including Ross of course!) We have already pencilled in our next shoot for Autumn and I'm counting down the days. He's one of a kind and I hope this is the start of many years working together. Easily one of my best experiences as a model, dancer and human. Thank you for everything Ross 😊 and give Freddie a cuddle from me 🐕

Just finished a fantastic week shooting in Belfast,all thanks to Ross. There is so much to say,Ross is the best to work with. Ross invited myself and my mom out to Belfast to shoot in his studio,he took the stress and pressure out of our hands completely by booking each day with absolutely wonderful and talented photographers. Ross was so organised in every way,he was so accommodating,and nothing was too much trouble for him,Ross makes sure the model has everything they need at all times,whether that be drinks,snacks or a heater! Ross is such a down to earth and lovely photographer,he is extremely talented and produces beautiful images and shares all of his skills with the photographers who come onto his workshops. He is patient with everyone and welcomes all into his studio,no matter what experience,he provides them with so much knowledge and builds everyone’s confidence. The studio itself is also a lovely,welcoming,safe place to shoot,definitely one of the nicest studios I have visited. Thank you so much to Ross for this wonderful trip! I really hope to be back and I could not recommend Ross,this studio and his photography friends more!

Wow,such a fabulous week spent styling my model daughter, Elle B1329 for a jam packed week of newfabulous photographical friends !

Ross booked us together and looked after the two of us throughout the whole week .He is most definitely at the top of his game as a photographer and as a tutor. Ross has fabulous studio space and have the most gentle manor with the people he teaches as well as with ourselves during our stay. A true gentleman!

I attended a Ross McK workshop with a few friends and the fabulous Irida S. It was relaxed , friendly and very productive, The light was exciting and so was the model! Irida worked SO hard and Ross was very helpful with suggestions for camera tweaks. He picked up very quickly on any little technical stumbles that he spotted us making and ran the day with relaxed precision. We will all come again.

Yet another incredible visit at Catchlight Studios in Belfast ! This time a had the pleasure of working with Ross for a whole day on Saturday and also to pose for the workshop on Sunday !

Ross is a true professional and so easy to work with ! Everything is always well organised and the light and styling is always top notch !

What can I say about Ross that hasn't already been said ?

Ross very invited me to Belfast to to shoot from his studio (Catchlight Studios) for 3 days for a group shoot on Friday and a 2 day photography/lighting workshop ran by Ross .

Ross had to be one of the most generous and kind human beings I've ever worked with ! He provided me with everything I needed from a hotel room , to my meals and also lift to the studio and back to my room. At the studio I was looked after like a princess :)

Ross is very professional , down to earth and so easy to work with ! The workshops have a relaxed and fun atmosphere , very creative and productive!

Ross as you can see from his portfolio is a very talented photographer and all the photo's I've seen on the back of the camera and the edits are stunning !

He also arranged a very talented MUAH to make up and styling which was so helpful to have around :)

I am happy to highly recommend Ross to all models and to all photographer's who are looking to learn studio lighting !

I was thrilled when Ross said he would try a remote shoot with me, and so pleased with the results we created using this innovative alternative method. As always Ross is a total pleasure to work with, and picked up with the remote technique very swiftly, bringing great direction and style to the process. I love the images!!

I have worked with Ross many times in person over the years, both 1:1 in the studio and on location, as well as at his workshops and group studio events. He is 100% professional, considerate, respectful and friendly, treating models so well and making sure they have everything they need. He is encouraging and empowering for you to be your best self, and refine the images together for stunning, quality results. Not only that but he also is so generous with any advice and guidance needed from his fellow photographers.

FINALLY (after so many years trying) Ross and I managed to shoot!!

I had an AMAZING few days in Belfast back in October. It was one of the rare tours of 2020 and it was super special. Warm welcomes, looked after so well, loads of laughs, amazing images and well, it all went by a bit too fast for my liking!!

Ross and I got on so well and we were bantering within minutes of meeting. It was such a fabulous environment and after a tough year the whole trip lifted my mood massively and gave me a great little confidence boost!!

Another fantastic few days with Ross and the gang.

I am always so grateful for Ross's bookings for so many reasons!

Ross's pre comms are quick, concise and we get shoots organised easily and without fuss.

Ross has put me up in some beautiful and awesome hotels and always organises hotel/airport drop off and pick up which really adds to the shoot experience. It means you can get a good nights sleep and feel really looked after, being able to concentrate properly on the shoot. The heating is always on, the kettle is always hot and the lighting and sets are always stunning.

Ross promotes a high standard of model comfort and photography!

As well as being an excellent photographer himself he has a talented group of photographers using his studio and I always have such an amazing time visiting.

My second time over to work with Ross in Belfast this week over a period of four days in his studio.

Ross organised everything for me and I was looked after impeccably over the course of my stay from food, accommodation, lifts to and from the studio and airport and working in a safe and positive environment.

Ross is super professional, highly experienced, very easy to work and get along with and has a phenomenal creative eye. He always captures me at my best and directs me to enhance each image to make it perfect.
