I photograph a lot of dance, which gives me shape and movement, and would like to use this experience in studio settings where I have more control over poses and lighting.  One of my current themes is body parts - legs, backs, hands, wild hair - which may offer portfolio possibilities to some models out there.  Rather than setting poses I may often ask a model to move from one position to another, while watching and 'stopping' the shapes through that movement.  In this way, photoshoots become actively collaborative.

My photographic experience goes back to the days of film and, although I now use digital, the knowledge gained in my darkroom helps in the tweaking and composition of digital black and white images.  Meanwhile... I'm friendly, have trouble telling left from right and make good coffee.
