I worked with Roger (and Judith) yesterday for the first time and had such a great day of modelling.

I was booked for their club Smethwick Photographic Society, which is an amazing space and had a great studio area, model changing facilities, and general facilities.

I worked with so many photographers throughout the day, Roger and Judith were amazing at organising it all!

I even got to shoot with them both too, and they captured a variety of lovely images :)

I look forward to working with them again sometime.

I feel honoured to be able to add to the list of excellent references for Roger and his lovely wife, Judith. Roger picked me up from a nearby station and dropped me back there after a shoot at Smethwick Photographic Society at the weekend on my Birmingham tour.

I was able to use the fridge for the food I'd brought (SO helpful for me!) and was looked after with tea & heaters, and brilliant company!

Roger & Judith were two of four photographers on the shoot and it was a well-organised, successful session with good commication and well-thought out styling.

They know exactly what they want to create, and had their own ideas and genres to cover..

Absolutely wonderful hospitality and the images looked lovely on the back of the camera.. they are brilliant at creating beautiful flattering & interesting light, clearly with many years of photography knowledge.

It would be a pleasure to get to work at Smethwick, and with them both again.

It was my pleasure to model for Smethwick Photographic Society again recently when Roger booked me for an 8 hour studio day at their club building.

Roger was kind enough to arrange transport for me, as well as filling all the slots with members. The day itself was very enjoyable, and it was lovely to see both Roger and Judith again and many of the members I met last time. It was also nice to meet so many (new to me) members. Everyone speaks so highly of Roger and Judith and it’s amazing what they’ve done for the Society.

I’d recommend Roger, and the Society as a whole, to other models and I hope to work with them again in the future!

I had my first shoot at Smethwick Studio yesterday and I honestly can't wait to go back!!! :D

Roger and Judith are absolutely lovely - Pre comms with Roger were great - When I arrived I was met with lots of warmth and offered a drink and a help with my bags.

The shoots took place over 6 hours and I met a range of wonderful photographers, all of which were incredibly respectful and the back of camera looked amazing!! :D

I also got the chance to shoot with Roger and Judith - Both of which are incredibly talented and really know how to light an image to perfection!! Judith is also very creative and really has an eye for what will work in an image.

I would highly recommend Smethwick studios and I look forward to returning again one day!! Thank you so much for having me!! :D

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Roger and Judith again a couple of days ago when they booked me to model for an 8-hour model event for Smethwick Photographic Society.

Roger and Judith are such lovely people, and i felt so welcome and comfortable with them and the rest of the club. I was really well looked after; my comfort was their top priority, they checked I was warm enough and offered me food and drinks regularly.

The group itself is made up of such warm, friendly photographers. I spent the entire evening laughing and talking to them like I’d known them for years. The back of cams I saw on the night were beautiful! They’re just generally a joy to work with, and I’m so pleased they decided to book me.

I can’t wait to work with Roger and Judith again, and I’d recommend them to other models without hesitation! Thanks so much both! 😊

I shot with Roger and Judith on Thursday at the Transport Museum as part of a group shoot. I found Roger and his wife Judith very easy to get on with from the offset. Roger and Judith shared ideas and shot well together. They were creative but easy going too. We shot various images and angles from one of the red vintage buses and also some by the shop front backdrop. I really enjoyed the time shooting with them both. I would definitely recommend them as lovely photographers to work with and hope to shoot with them again in the future. Thank you both :) x

It was my pleasure to meet and work with Roger and Judith for the first time a couple of days ago at Aldridge Transport Museum.

I was booked there to model for them and other members of their lovely camera club. Our one-to-one (or one-to-two in our case) hour felt like it was over before it began, due, in no small part, to Roger and Judith’s wonderful company. They are incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’s easy to see why their camera club attracts so many photographers.

They were kind enough to share back of cam images with me during the shoot, and the images were lovely!

I’d recommend them to other models wholeheartedly and I look forward to working with them again in the future. Thanks so much both 😊

Roger organised a model day for me last week at Smethwick and what a fun packed day that was.

All the photographers were so lovely, I even got to work with a Roger himself and his lovely wife.

Thoroughly enjoyed working at Smethwick and would love the opportunity to work here again sometime.

First shoot with the wonderful pair Roger and Judith at Natural Light Spaces.

Both Roger and Judith were truly wonderful to shoot with. Each with their different ideas and styles made for such a vibrant, dynamic and fun shoot :) We covered a variety of styles from portraits, to implied, to dance, to hoop! They are a truly professional team with the upmost respect for my boundaries and levels. Both Roger and Judith are incredibly kind-natured and just so lovely to be around. They were happy to let me have breaks when needed and we even had a little picnic lunch together :)! Both brought wonderfully creative ideas to the table which turned out fabulously on the back of the camera!

We are in talks of shooting again hopefully when their camera club reopens. I very much look forward to working with them again :)

Another great shoot with Roger and Judith at Smethwick PS. Roger hired me for a model day for 14 photographers, a super brilliant busy day! Luckily Roger and I still managed to work together as well!

I always adore working with them, highly respectful and just simply delightful to work with!

Roger kindly made sure I was comfortable throughout the day which included bringing me cups of coffee and tea, anyone who knows me knows I love a good brew!

The studio room is kept lovely and warm which as a dancer and artnude model I massively appreciate!

I am always happy to work with them, I always have a great time!

I would highly recommend!

Roger and wife Judith recently attended a model day and both were great to have shooting here.

Friendly, polite with professional attitudes and very easy to get along with. I was happy to give assistance whenever required and both treated studio and facilities on offer respectfully.

I really like their tasteful and artistic photographic styles and looking forward to seeing images that they decide to show from this shoot.

I had another great shoot with Roger and several others at Smethwick PS and can’t wait to see the final edits. I always enjoy working with Roger for the creativity he brings to the shoot. We shot a mixture of artistic nude and dance shots all within a small time frame, and the raw shots looked great! I look forward to working with both Roger and the team again!

I have been modelling across the globe for six years and I can honestly say that Roger and everyone I worked with at Smeg are the nicest most helpful and loviest people that I have ever met!

I cannot reccomend the a studio event organized by Roger enough!

Everything went really well, Roger greeting people, helping hugely with lights and backgrounds, making sure that the day ran smoothly.

The studio is a brilliant and versatile space to work in

An excellent space and I always felt so fully looked after

My third shoot with Roger and Judith and we also had Dinah join us as well.

We had an absolutely delightful shoot, spending 6 hours in the white room at Natural Light spaces.

Time flew by and I was truly look after for the entire shoot which was a ballet/dance shoot.

As always I highly recommend working with them!

And always hope to get to work with them again!

I had the pleasure of working with Roger and the Smethwick photographic society group for a second time recently. Roger was brilliant and helped organise the event at an old pumping station that had some beautiful features throughout. The weather was in our favour allowing to use the outdoor space as well as indoor to create a beautiful array of images that contrasted each other perfectly.

Roger is really creative and has a good way of sounding out an idea, so as a model, you can understand what he would like to create.

The day was a lovely partnership of ideas and creativity as well as being very well organised and professional throughout but full of smiles and laughter :)

They are a complete delight to work with, both such characters and easy to get on with. Full of ideas and poses. We captured some wonderful images and are already arranging our next shoot.

I was recently invited to model for Roger and the Smethwick Photographic society at one of their studio days. This was my first time working with the group and I hope to work with them again :)

The shoot went like a dream, the whole group were a delight to work with and Roger was on hand to help with any adjustments and time manage the bookings. It was a well organised event and I even got a chance to work with Roger too.

Roger was kind, polite and professional throughout the day and through our shoot. He had lots of great ideas and I am looking forward to seeing the results.
