I had another shoot with Roger after a veeeery long time and it was amazing to be able to work with him again, this time in Sandon Studio during my model studio day.

Roger picked me up in the morning from where I was staying and he drove us to Sandon Studio. It was really kind of him to pick me up, I appreciated it a lot as it made my day much easier and less stressful and we had a chance to catch up on things too! :)

We had an amazing shoot! We went through a few different looks and outfits, plenty of interesting conversations while having fun! Roger was incredibly easy to work with, soo relaxed, laid back and simply nice to be around. He made sure I was getting breaks in between and kept making sure I was happy and not too tired:) We achieved wonderful results, I was extremely pleased with images we created!

I would definitely recommend working with Roger to models and other creatives. Thank you and looking forward to working with you again! :)

I worked with Roger on a half day shoot at the stunning Sandon Studio recently and had such a wonderful time! It was our first time working together so I am always a little nervous but needn't have been as Roger is such a sweetheart! Roger was very professional, respectful and FUN to boot!

We had a super productive shoot, exploring the many rooms of Sandon; shooting Fashion, Latex and Art Nude! Roger gives great direction and is also very happy for the model to lead. I loved Rogers company and the shoot was full of fun and laughter! The images looked beautiful and I really look forward to seeing the results.

Another wonderful start to my second day at Sandon with a fab shoot with Roger.

A real joy to work with, he had lots of ideas and it was very handy to see the photos tethered to his Ipad and we got alot done in our 3 hours. Lots of chatting, a relaxed pace and a lovely guy.

Hopefully we get the chance to work together again and I very highly recommend him!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Roger yesterday in my apartment in Leicester. Roger booked myself and my partner for some mixed levels of duo and solo.

Roger had great comms from the start and had given me a clear idea of the themes and ideas that he wanted to try. He was organised, friendly, professional and generally a nice person to chat to and shoot with.

He kindly showed me all of the images on the I Pad and there really are some stunning shots. I am looking forward to seeing the final result and I look forward to a second shoot

Roger is such a lovely guy and really easy to get along with. He worked with me in my studio for a Fashion shoot and the time passed away effortlessly. By the end of our shoot he had the photos on his Ipad for me to flick through. Some real gems that were straight off the camera looking fabulous without editing which is testament to his skills. Highly recommended professional photographer.

I had my first shoot with Roger while touring in Birmingham and hopefully we will get a chance to shoot together in the future :)!

Roger arrived on time, well prepared for our shoot with a lovely easy going attitude. I knew those 4 hours were going to be incredibly relaxed and fun and I wasn't wrong.

Roger is a fantastic person to work with, absolutely easy to get on and have a conversation with. He has got great sense of humour that made our shoot full of jokes and laugh. It is so great when working with a photographer feels more like enjoying your time rather than thinking about it as " another job". Roger is definitely one of those photographers when you feel that you can freely pose and express yourself without being rushed.

Roger was acting in a very professional manner. He was always respectful towards me making sure I was happy with results we got.

I would recommend Roger to every model, thank you for a great shoot ! :)

He turned up on time, had a cuppa and suddenly the shoot got under way.

I can honestly say some of the most outstanding shots I've seen on our tutorials.

Roger is friendly, professional and took on board everything he was being taught.

well ...what can i say about Roger ...... He's an absolute star!

Roger booked to work with myself and the lovely Aurora at my studio.

His communications before the shoot were spot on and i knew from the messages that we would have a great shoot.

Roger turned up on time and once he had a look around the studio we got straight on with some ideas .

Roger hasn't done many shoots for a while so he was getting back on his feet in starting it up again but you wouldn't know ... he was very professional , knew exactly what he was doing and he had a great eye for using the natural light that was available at the studio x

We kept stopping to upload the various sets we were doing during the shoot and i always find this very welcome as you can get an idea of light and the poses that are working and what are not .

Roger is very chatty also and the conversations just really flowed between us all and literally the time went by way too quickly ...we could of carried on all day the three of us ...lol

I highly recommend Roger to work with , he's very respectful , easy going and a complete gentleman ... you will have a fun , relaxed shoot with great images to top it off with .

I really enjoyed working with Roger for the first time during a recent trip I had down in Derbyshire doing a studio shoot at Venus Studio with @Angel price.

Roger booked myself and Angel at Angels studio, Venus Studio in Wirksworth and we had such a productive morning.

After having a little break from the camera Roger was keen to book two professional models for some g/g styles to gain more experience with and he was confident, organised, professional and had lots of ideas. Whilst shooting Roger seemed to feel at ease with us both and was happy to let us pose freely also finding it easy to direct us and his communication leading up to our shoot was fantastic.

He was a complete gentleman, very well mannered and chatty. Arriving on time with a plan, the whole shoot was a great success. We achieved some excellent results and managed to have a relaxed and really fun shoot.

I highly recommend Roger for solo or duo shoots, he is such a lovely guy to work with and a wonderful photographer. Do not miss the chance to work with him.

Epic, just epic!

Roger and I chatted way back last year and were in the process of arranging a shoot back then... various bits and bobs meant we decided to with Spring time 2016 instead (full credit to Roger for his amazing communications and helpfulness from the start) but I can tell you with elite confidence that it was 1000% worth the wait. We had an AMAZING shoot... got so much done and despite having 13 acres of grounds to utilise at Joel Hicks Photographic, we actually had so much to keep us going just in the studio areas. Now that shows a substantial amount of creative bounce and teamwork because there wasn't a single point where we thought we may be running out of ideas. Roger had the camera all tethered up so we could see what we were getting and we got some absolutely magic material. I've been holding off writing a "half-arsed" reference during my busy travels that followed our shoot because I wanted to give this gent full credit for the time we spent shooting. :)

The lovely thing about Roger is that he will do his best with the lighting and try different things to mix it up. He's got a lot of enthusiasm to give on shoots, a great eye for things/ideas that interest him but I think the flow was what made the shoot so productive and fly by in no time at all: Roger literally encourages his models to go for it with styles that they may think will work, he gives lovely feedback mid-shoot which is positive and driving for you as you're posing away. It was such a laid back and enjoyable day that was pressure-free, lots of fun and with the tethering it was so exiting to see the images coming through in full glory. Roger will give any style a bash... no matter how quirky! Towards the end I unleashed some crazy, elaborate makeup on him which was completely different from the "elegant beauty" we did earlier in the day and he just took it in his stride! A pleasure to work with in every way. :)

We got on like a house on fire from the very start because you will struggle to find a more so respectful and courteous photographer who is so easy going like Roger. I felt comfortable, well looked after throughout the day, positive with a team flow and just enthused as we could egg each other on with ideas. It was grand! :D Lot's of laughs, cups of tea like we were going for a world record... gorgeous images and cracking atmosphere.

Extremely high recommendations from my directions! Thank you so much Roger, you're a star!

Works well with models and treats them with the utmost respect whilst being easy to get along with, knowledgeable to chat with and having a relaxed nature.
