This was another brillant shoot with Rick! We organised everything in a short amount of time and Rick got everything ready in a short notice.

He picked me up from the train station and when we arrived to the studio, the first set was already set up and he welcomed me with some « yum yum » for breakfast haha.

Rick’s lighting technique is absolutely on point and I love how each times, even after shooting on so many occasions, it’s always something very different.

Rick is super creative while being very open to my ideas, and definitely knows how to make the models feel comfortable. I can absolutely see him being great with models who are just starting out.

I was modeling for Rick’s workshop for business headshot today. He got together a nice small group of photographers to share his knowledge in business headshots lighting and techniques.

The workshop was a perfect length with half theory supported with a powerpoint and half practice with different changes in term of outfits and lighting.

I found Rick being very pedagogic, giving simple and clear explanations, easy to understand even for beginners and willing to answer to any questions.

If you need a great teacher to improve your photographic skills, Rick is your man!

It’s always so much fun to shoot with Rick. He showed lots of interests to the ideas I suggested, from the classic ones to the crazy and weird ones.

We ended up creating amazing images that really stand out with lots of creativity. And I had definitely lots of laughs today!

The studio was booked for a shoot..such a great studio to do a shoot in. Very spacious and is supplied with great equipment. Also Richard was on hand to help and give great advice. Would definitely recommend both Richard and recommend hiring the studio.

Long over due return to this fine chap's portfolio page to leave my second reference for RJ Bradbury.

Had a blast upon my return to this gents studio. We shots fitness portraits and had the use of many pixapro lighting setups.

Also I catered for the day by bringing some equipment and clothing courtesy of my gym.

Had a super fun shoot.

I recommend Rick to all in the industry.

This was my first shoot directly with Rick- I have Short at his studio before and been impressed with his lighting and technical knowledge, but I have to say shooting directly with him and I think he’s a lighting guru- his extensive planning, and pre-communications are brilliant, so you both are on the same page about what you’re trying to achieve, but he knows exactly how to achieve it technically, achieving brilliant results!

Aside from that also a lovely person he got snacks drinks and was super understanding about an injury I’ve had recently (even around flexibility of start times etc). He shoots tethered, which I do really like, and is totally transparent about everything that he wants to create- so we got on and created some brilliant shots! Rick also sourced an assistant, the lovely Dave Andrew is brilliant at instructing him and advising him on how to make the most out of each and every aspect of the shot!

Hugely enjoyable experience – I really hope our return to the studio soon for some more shoots- there are some we’ve already discussed that I’m really excited about, I can think of endless possibilities, hopefully that will happen soon. Thanks Rick hopefully see you soon

I had an amazing day at the studio shooting fitness. Rick put together a nice team with a makeup artist and an assistant, very well prepared the shoot with props, outfits and a mood board.

I had lots of fun, lots of laugh and the day went so fast that it made me not want to leave anymore.

Rick is always happy to pick up and drop from/to the train station and even provided lunch and snacks. The studio has everything needed and Rick is extremely professional while being super friendly and fun.

I had an amazing shoot with Rick in his awesome studio in Stockport. As always Rick was very polite , nice and friendly! He offered me a big variety of delicious snacks, was worried about my rest and drove me to the train station! It s always very comfortable and easy to work with him, we had a really nice chat and a lot of fun together!

His studio is very good equipped and convenient. It has good changing room with all necessary things (from light mirror till wireless charger for my phone.) Also there is a lot of really great techniques including a laptop where you can instantly see all shots. Rick is very good in lighting and all photos he made look gorgeous! I am always happy to work with Rick, cause all shoots with him are very enjoyable and easy. Thank you so much and hope to work with you again soon 🤗

I had a morning actor headshots session with Rick. The communication is always on point with him.

He picked me up from the train station and welcomed me at the studio with coffee and croissants.

Rick is extremely professional, easy going and working with him is always enjoyable with some good laughs. He knows how to make people feel comfortable.

We got some really good pictures from the photoshoot. Rick is really good at directing and I'm always amazed by his lighting.

I highly recommend Rick to everyone, beginners as experienced models.

I had a delightful first shoot with Rick. From the get go he was super welcoming and I felt completely at ease.

We worked through a few different sets of headshots, and it was clear Rick has a huge amount of knowledge on lighting and how to achieve the look he's after. The time honestly just disappeared as it was such a relaxed yet productive shoot, I could've just kept going!

Had a great experience once again in Rick's studio, this time with maestro himself :) The results are just stunning and the whole experience was smooth and pleasant as always. Today's shoot with Rick was brilliant! We had a really chill few hours trying lots of different styles and lighting techniques. Rick is super friendly, approachable and we had lots of laughs making for a relaxing environment. As a model Rick gave plenty of feedback so I was confident in my posing and we were achieving a great result.

Today's shoot was the second time I had been to the studio and it is fully equipped a range of lights, a brilliant dressing room and kitchen.
