Paul Berryman Artist

My name is Paul, I am a visual artist specialising in making paintings and drawings from life, usually of the human face and figure. I always need models - more on that below.

I run the drawing from life sessions at Milton Keynes Gallery as one of their associate artists, as well as my own group Ridgmont Life drawing, just south of Milton Keynes right in between Woburn and the M1 J13. I've run close to 500 life-drawing and portrait events since 2015 and in spite of the covid-induced hiatus (how was yours? Mine was rubbish) I'm happy to say things aren't slowing down, in fact, the opposite.

Because I run so many life model and portrait events each month, I am always looking for a diverse range of models to represent the broadest possible spectrum of humanity - we vary our roster as much as possible by age, gender, ethnicity, body type. Experienced models always add an extra dimension to our work, and if you've always been a photo-only model but are interested in trying art-modelling please drop me a line.

Although much less frequent, I have also produced some commercial work from photos taken in sessions with models, again I expect there to be more of this in the future.
