From the love interest in their character and aspirations, he draws inspiration and knowledge of their personality, before starting the shoot. His spacious cottage studio has interesting props to interact with, amazing light equipment that Terry skilfully uses to emphasise his model features and wardrobe, and a cup of good tea to start a conversation. He delicately blends smooth guidance with the freedom of wardrobe choices and posing, so that the model could express themselves with ease and fun. It was exactly one year ago when I shot with Terry the first time; I managed my first international publication with him and can truly call it the kick start to my modelling career :-) Time to say a big THANK YOU and also for the further work we did (3 more outstanding publications and a wonderful head shot shooting.)

What a shooting!

It was a highly creative one and we had a so talented MUA on board. Terry was once more brilliant when it comes to all technical and artistic aspects. When we went through the shots we did we realised that we all loved it. The colours, the poses, the outfits, MU and composition were beautiful and quirky, truly superb.

I had the pleasure of working with Terry two days ago. Such an interesting experience! He is an amazingly talented professional who knows exactly what he wants and can communicate it in a pleasant yet firm manner. The images he obtained are absolutely stunning.

Communication was perfect from the beginning. He picked me up at the station and drove me back. His very well equipped studio has everything that is needed to produce excellent results, and it’s also a fascinating place for someone with a curious mind like myself.

Finally, he is also a very interesting person with great conversation, which made our interaction even more enjoyable. I totally recommend him to anyone looking to obtain top quality images in a safe and pleasant environment.

I had my first ever retro shooting today with Terry and I cannot put into words how amazing it all was. The studio where we shot was equipped with everything and, if possible, more. It was like being in Mary Poppins’ bag.

Terry was very patient, open to dialogue but at the same time precise with what he wanted.

We were joined by Laura Hoile who brought some stunning corsets, hats (made by her!!) and skirts.

The photos, from the previews, look gorgeous and I am very much looking forward to seeing the final result.

It would be a huge joy to work with Terry again in the future, and I cannot recommend him more.

I had an amazing shoot with Terry yesterday.

He was so lovely to pick me up from the station; it was a short drive to his studio, which is a wonderful place full with props and technically outstanding well equipped.

The pictures we produced were really exactly what we both were after; nevertheless there was also room for an outstanding creative idea Terry came up with. I simply loved it!

Terry always showed me the pictures on the big screen and after the session we

picked the very best. I can't wait to see the full outcome.

I worked with Terry very last minute, and really glad that I did!

He made me feel comfortable from the beginning and had some great ideas to shoot at both the beach and fairground. He has some great camera kit to work with that produced some amazing lighting techniques, and he was super helpful with directing poses, and also making sure that I was comfortable and ok throughout the whole shoot.

I would definitely recommend this photographer to work with I love his work. When I was working with this photographer he would always show me the images and the select ones I love, he gave me a mirror to also pose and practice my movement’s and learning how to move in front of the camera.

I brought my own outfits but retro had a room with accessories and a few types of outfits amazing to work helping with my direction to pose I have worked with him now 2 times high resolution images and great to work with.

I was so honoured when Terry asked to work with me as I love his work. He was very hospitable offering hot drinks and breaks between the shoot. I was able to view images and select the ones I love which I never have the chance to do on my other shoots. Also Terry provided a mirror so I can see my poses and a screen where I could see the pictures as he took them. Terry was very good at giving direction on how to pose and had a range of posing ideas. Although I brought most of my outfits, Terry had plenty accessories available at his studio for me to use. I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot with him and cannot wait to see the pictures.

Working with Terry was an absolute pleasure, fantastic photographer and very professional. He was very efficient with arranging our shoot and discussing what types of shots we were aiming to achieve.

The studio was perfect with a spacious dressing room equipped with mirrors, dressing table and plenty of spare shoes/clothes. Terry was also very hospitable offering hot drinks and biscuits which was very much appreciated on a cold day like we had.

During the shoot, Terry was very professional and guided me with directions whilst also allowing me to experiment and explore my own poses/angles so all in all was a very collaborative process. The whole experience was enjoyable with Terry being upbeat and personable meaning I was at ease and felt very comfortable. We had a great shoot and I can’t wait to see the final images. Couldn’t recommend Terry highly enough.

It was in his studio at Leigh on sea, Terry, me and my sister who did make up for me create a great tram vibe and pictures came out very beautifully.

Did my first ever virtual photoshoot with Terry the other week and it was so much fun! I'm so used to doing face face photoshoots but these make it viable to still shoot during these strange times we're in at the moment with lockdown and social distancing in place. I felt a bit out of practice with posing but soon found my flow again through it and we chatted throughout which meant the time just flew by!
