Purple Gecko Photography

I have been enjoying the magic of photography for more than 11 years now. I love experimenting with different styles and techniques. I've tried sticking to just one or two but to be honest I just have so much fun changing things up. Photoshoots that are planned down to the last detail can often go by the wayside as I decide to try something totally unscheduled and quite often totally off the wall.

My ethos is to have fun and enjoy photography so whether its a paid shoot or TF I don't approach it as having to shoot from start to finish and appreciate models who are interested and want to be "involved" in the shoot rather than just posing.

As well as in the studio I can often be found out and about photographing landscapes, seascapes and anything that catches my eye. This has given me many ideas which (post Covid) I intend to pursue which blends the skills of Landscape with the use of models and props.

Photography can be such a joyous thing to do and I and some friends often get together for the day and place a casting or contact models we know and create magic either in the studio or on location. We also run social events for photographers, models, make up artists and others in the industry which allows us all to show off our work (and why not),network and bounce ideas around for future shoots.
