I am only looking for business where I am paid for rigging, TFP collaborations, or collaborations for magazine/competition submissions. 

 

I am equally a photographer and Japanese Shibari Rigger.

For Photographers:

As a Rigger, I tie for photographers. If you would like to add Japanese bondage, including suspension bondage to your portfolio, please get in touch. I have a few rope models who are very skilled and will work at competitive rates.

All photos of Shibari in my portfolio have been tied by myself.

For Models:

As a photographer, I am interested in forming a strong network and building working relationships with models, MUAs, stylists, designers. I would like to make interesting photographs, whatever that may entail.

For my own work I am looking for others who are interested in building a portfolio in a TF (time-for) setting.

I am NOT looking for more than a professional relationship from models. If you are wanting to add Shibari photos to your portfolio, I will tie as a professional. This is about making interesting photos and nothing more.

For collaborations, all models must bring photo ID and sign a standard model release prior to the shoot (for everyone’s safety). All photos will be used solely for marketing and portfolio use by myself and yourself. I choose not to shoot with models under the age of 18 (or the age of consent wherever I am shooting), please respect this. 

What can you expect?

If you are paying for my services you have the option of purchasing Raw Images. 

For all other shoots, selected edited images will be provided no later than two weeks following the shoot (or times will be discussed in advance if I am busy). I do all post processing myself- developing from a RAW image using Lightroom & Photoshop. However, I don’t do extreme Photoshop manipulation. I do not sell/provide original raw captures simply because retouching is as much a part of the work as the original image. I want to maintain only the highest standard of work and do not want someone attempting to retouch my photography. I will provide full size and web sized images in either JPEG or TIFF format (other finished formats can also be requested). We can discuss if my logo will be placed on the image, however, credit must be given when posting.

Shoots are meant to be creative and fun, they may last several hours and span over hundreds of images. However, only the best images will be used.

What do I expect?

No last minute cancellations please! You must be 100% sure you can make it to the shoot. The same goes for being late. Make sure you arrive on time or 5-10 minutes early. If you think you will be late for some reason, call me in advance. I am professional, polite, on time, prepared, and in the right frame of mind for each shoot. I expect you to be the same.

Please do not request extra edits free of charge, post processing requires a large amount of time. Depending on style, one photos post process is often longer than the shoot itself.

Can I (the model) have input?
If I am paid for the shoot, you have creative control. 

For all collaborations, any photo shoot ideas are greatly welcomed. I look forward to meeting you and seeing what creative expressions we can create together. I prefer to allow models to share in the creation process. I am interested in trying new things; so if you have an idea for a project, let me know. You'll find me to be a flexible, fun photographer that's easy to work with.

We will schedule a time and day to work together and can come up with ideas collectively, and go from there. Though I am currently limited to what we might be able to try in studio, let me know your thoughts. I am very flexible with shooting, but weekends or weekdays after 5 pm work best for me. (this is of course for regular shoots, not necessarily when I am travelling).
