Had another shoot with Samthedog last week.

Fun as always! Good communication before the shoot, direction throughout the shoot and as usual really good images to show from the shoot!

I had a really fabulous shoot with samthedog at Spitfire Studios Swindon. The shoot was booked last year but communication was extensive and we both knew what we wanted to achieve.

This was also our first shoot together, I was very impressed by his professionalism, friendliness and creative ideas.

I felt completely relaxed which always helps when you're nude with a stranger.

I got to play around with props and had a really good time.

I hope to work with you again in the future, thank you for a wonderful shoot. I can't wait to see the results.

I had my first shoot with John today after having collaborating via email some month back and boy, was I glad I waited!

What an absolutely lovely gentleman to work with! With excellent pre shoot communication, John made sure I was well prepared for the shoot and what it entailed weeks prior, as well as sending the materials we were going to use to my home address so that everything was good to go on the day. He arrived at BEWT Studios on time having driven to Cardiff all the way from Gloucester.

Now that the typical stuff is out of the way, I must say that John is an absolute pleasure to work with! Incredibly polite, professional and friendly, it's easy to build a rapport with him in minutes and I felt completely at ease shooting to nude level with him thanks to his very respectful and professional nature. Chatty and full of interesting stories and information (we both like medieval history so it was pretty much destined to go well from the start!), John has a wonderful eye for lighting and shadow and is full of creative ideas for shots and poses. He was kind enough to bring along a book full of reference images for potential poses, though he allowed me plenty of creative freedom and also gives direction very well when required.

The images looked amazing (he was kind enough to show me the sets) and I can't wait to see the final shots! Definitely book this lovely, talented photographer for something elegant and unique - I'd happily recommend him to anyone!

It was a pleasure to have John at the studio this week with Little Owl. John is a very down to earth gentleman and it was very refreshing to spend time around him. We received excellent feedback from the model in regards to his conduct and his behaviour and comms before and during the shoot. I have shot with John many times, but, this time was different as it was a maternity shoot! John and I got through a selection of ideas and styles and some really cool concepts. John is lovely, friendly and I would highly recommend working with John and i look forward to shooting with John agin :)

Had a lovely shoot today with John at Spitfire Studios in Swindon.

A very relaxed shoot and John was courteous and professional throughout. He kindly picked me up at the station and made sure I had biscuits to snack on and plenty of breaks as needed.

The images looked great on the back of the camera and John was happy for me to self-direct but threw in ideas of his own as needed.

I had a very enjoyable shoot and hope to work with John again soon. Wholeheartedly recommended!

I worked with John recently for the second time on Artemis Fauna's Portugal trip. We had so much fun, locations were amazing and the company was great. John was lovely person to spend time with and we had great conversations over the 3 days of his trip. John always has plenty of cool ideas and gives great direction too.

Artemis Fauna

John booked on to the Luxury All-Inclusive trip abroad to Portugal last month and it was an amazingly successful and fun trip.

John and I have worked together a fair amount over the years but this was our first time abroad.

John, as always was great to work with. He knew what shots he wanted and we all had a lot of fun chatting in the social times.

Love the shots I have seen so far and can't wait to see more (and hopefully have John on my future trips too) :)

I loved working with John yesterday at Spitfire studios in Swindon.

John and I got on really well and the shoot was absolutely chilled and natural, we worked whilst having conversations on various subjects.

I felt at my most relaxed and spontaneous because I think John is one of those individuals who, without fuss, knows how to make models comfortable and at ease by respecting their space and appreciating the person on a human level and so for me, that shoot was excellent; a great moment- also because I find John's work remarkable, for it is unpretentious as well as genuinely fine and classy, beautiful and touching.

John's personality certainly shows through his images.

Thank you for having me John and hopefully we can work again in the future.

Have shot with John multiple times before and this time was just as great :) this time we shot at mine rather than in a studio and John demonstrated his versatility in a new setting with only natural light. We also did some outdoor shots which turned out really lovely despite direct sun. Johns pre comms were great, he's chilled and easy to work with, and has a natural eye for the beauty of the female form. Thanks John

After a long while of seeing and following John's beautiful work for a while, I finally got the chance to shoot with him due to a cancellation!

John met me on time at the railway station as promised and communications prior to that were spot on.

I immediately felt comfortable being in John's company and he was so easy to talk to once we got going! We had much more in common than I thought.

He had a fantastic moodboard with him and we got through some of it at a very relaxed paced and I was most pleased with the results on the back of the camera!

Overall he was an absolute pleasure to shoot for and I would certainly recommend him to other models and studios.

Thank you for an excellent shoot John, it would be great to work with you again sometime :)

Had my second shoot with John today.

John is friendly, professional and came prepared with some great ideas for the shoot. I got to really push myself to create interesting shapes, which I love. We shot mostly low key, and John really knew how to make the most of the light - allowing me to get into poses, and then giving good direction as needed!

The photos look fantastic in the back of the camera!

I would be delighted to work with John again, and definitely recommend him!

Working with John is always a wonderful pleasure. Since our very first shoot we have kept in touch and shot numerous times when either one of us have been travelling - this time we shot again at Joel Hicks Photographic to make use of some of the new facilities... John is absolutely on-pointe with controlled lighting for his nude work but I knew instantly he would rock the natural light after a set we did at his home using window light. And guess what: John rocked the images this time, like every time and we got some absolutely sensational work created once more.

Every single shoot with John has always been creatively inspired: it goes without saying that he has a fantastic eye for lighting the nude figure in so many different ways to bring out the shapes, contours and tone... but John thinks with inspired ideas too so in the pre-shoot communications in the run up to our shoot, we're discussing all manner of wonderful concepts to work into the style. It's great fun seeing how they translate from a pre-visualised idea to making then happen in a photograph and John has that exceptional aptitude to make it work and sculpt the lighting accordingly.

Aside from the many masses of beautiful imagery that came out of our shoot... we had the standard whale of a time catching up and chatting about everything and everything. :P It's so much fun because we talk about all sorts in emails when time allows and then do the same shooting as well. There is never a shortage of laughs and John really is the kindest, loveliest gent any model could shoot with. He's got a down to earth and relaxed aptitude and shows no end of respect to the models he works with. The next shoot we have is always one to look forward to and I cannot recommend John enough! :) He's a star with a stupendous, artistically genius mind. One photographer I have very high regards for!

Sunday Moon

I had my first shoot with John yesterday at Matchbox Studio and it was a brilliant experience!

He's so polite, respectful and friendly...Also, John is open to creative ideas, and gives clear directions to enhance a shot whilst also allowing me a lot of input with my poses.

I felt completely at ease during the shoot, and enjoyed the interesting conversations aswell.

He always kept me in the loop as we worked, showing me the images of each set so that I could see what was working. From the pictures I saw on-shoot, I can't wait to see the final results!

John is a genuinely lovely, talented photographer and I would happily recommend him to anyone.

John came with a book of pose ideas, which was very helpful and I felt inspired to create something awesome. He also has a love for mono art-nude which is exactly my style!

Finally got to work with samthedog.-was completely lovely, great to work with a photographer who takes art nude seriously. Loved the low key effects, like moonlighting. Very Beautiful. :)
