Aztec God of the Underworld

This is my Aztec God of the Underworld inspired by the Aztecs celebration of death and their love for bold and bright colours. For this creation I designed everything from my models head to his toes including the Aztec feather head dress, prosthetic face and rib cage, body paint, costume and props. The skirt is made from raffia and real animal bones along with the models necklace of fake eyeballs and animal bones. His staff represents the owls, bats and spiders his character is renowned for through history.
