I am a retired scientist turning my attentions to a lifelong hobby of photography which is now my primary occupation. Being useless at drawing and painting, photography gives me a scientifically related tool to express my latent artistic side.

I love to photograph anything but would say that my particular interests lay in the people, travel, nature and nude genres, the beauty of the last two being something that inspires me.

My ambitions are to achieve Fellowship of the RPS, to one day exhibit my work and perhaps sell a few of my images on the way. I achieved the LRPS Distinction last year (Sept.2012) but my primary aim is to capture images that both I, and hopefully others, will appreciate via this wonderfully diverse and satisfying medium.
