Hidden away in a Kent village sits this amazing town. It began construction in the 1970’s by a landowner who with a couple of friends with an interest in the “Wild West” thought it would be a great idea to build a saloon based on the era, the saloon also has 4 hotel rooms. Over the years another 20 or so buildings were constructed and the lonely saloon became a busy town.

Some of the buildings include a sheriffs office and jail cell, a bank, church, fully working bakery and store house and gunsmiths.

Each building has a key holder and every weekend they leave there modern life for a historical adventure of the 1870’s.

All the buildings have authentic interiors and fittings.

The town folk do not bring anything modern Into the town, phones and modern belongings remain in the car.

Currently the town is closed due to covid 19 and I had an invite to photograph the buildings. Although they were all locked up it’s still a great opportunity to photograph and have the town all to myself.
