Alan!! What a great pleasure it was to shoot with you!

I met Alan for the first time in Art Asylum Studio and it was a beautiful shooting.

Alan was the last photographer of the day, I was a bit tired but with his wonderful ideas and his positive energy I got charged up and we created a masterpiece. Very professional, friendly and kind.

His ideas are out of the ordinary and I like that very much and I can’t wait to shoot with him again.

Our break moments were beautiful, full of laughter with him, Antonia and Steave.

It was a great pleasure to shoot with you and spend time with you Alan!

I hope to shoot again with you

Wow, I can honestly say it was such a pleasure to meet Alan- when he attended my workshop at the old bakery.

I can wholeheartedly say he is one very creative individual and SO very easy to get on with, in the small time that we had to become acquainted and create some awesome images- I think he smashed out the bag. Alan bought props to add to the shoot and a special effects light to ensure not only he captured his own ideas, but that they were different from other peoples. At first instance, from meeting Alan, he shared some of his creative ideas, a friendly face, and a passion for photography. I loved shooting with him and I felt like we both just kept getting fireworks exploding in our brains! The time flew. He was funny and friendly and always respectful. I'd highly recommend him to all. Thank you!

Alan Alan Alan where to begin … we met for the first time on the photography holidays abroad trip to Portugal 2024 .

What an amazing lovely man to work with!

He’s very professional and very creative, I really enjoyed working with him as he has so many great ideas and he comes fully prepared with a load of accessories to compliment all outfits; which helps create a different variety of images and helps spice them up a little bit! Like I’ve said about I thoroughly enjoyed working with Alan he’s a great guys easy to get on with and you can always have a good laugh with him, I couldn’t recommend him enough! Thankyou again Allan for the amazing images and for the experience to shoot with you! Xx

I have had the privilege to work with Alan for the second time. We had a lovely week on the Photography Holidays Abroad trip in the Algarve this year ran by Martin Newton. Alan is a very outgoing, easy to talk to person and working with him on this trip was truly amazing. He cracks the jokes as well as creating images that truly show you in the best light. Alan makes sure to bring accessories for the models to use as he has his own visions and ideas for shoots as well as letting you take free rein as well. He gives clear direction where needed and shows you how he would like his ideas by posing himself to show you. He always showed me the images as we were shooting to make sure we were both happy with the images. I can’t wait to start posting the images sent by Alan, I would highly recommend him!😊

I love shooting with Alan!

Recently we had that opportunity to spend a week together in Portugal on Photography Holidays.

Alan is super professional, friendly and just so easy to get on with.

He has a great eye for photography, and likes to experiment to get the right images. Alan always brings his props and adds them to the models outfits to add his own touch and I love that :)

I can’t wait to see what we managed to create.

I highly recommend anyone to shoot with Alan, you will not be disappointed! Hope to you shoot with you soon

I met Alan on a model trip in Portugal and I must say I am honoured our paths crossed! Living and working with Alan for 2 weeks was a pleasure. He is a gentleman who will make you feel safe and warm inside. The most down to earth, genuinely lovely man. He had a load of stuff with him that just made the images! Really loved his style and creativity. I have some great images from Alan. I wanted to say I’m truly grateful for the evening Alan spent up late helping me with a personal matter, it’s something I will never forget, he helped me greatly. One of the most memorable people I met on the trip. Highest recommendation from me of course. Thanks for everything Alan xx

Alan was one of the photographers who came on the Model Photography Holidays event in portugal where I was one of the models.

Alan was professional, easy to get on with and we had some deep chats about spirituality.

He came with loads of different props and ideas for the shoot. He was very good at making sure i was comfortable during the shoot in some of the less comfortable shoot locations.

He made sure i was safe while shooting with him and all in all I had a great time shooting with Alan. He got on with everyone well on the trip.

I highly recommend him and we are by chance going to be on another trip together in September

Alan kindly booked last minute on my latest studio weekend at Art Asylum reloaded in Weymouth.

He arrived with such a bubbly energy bouncing off lots of ideas and making good input into outfits. Each set worked incredibly well.

I absolutely loved the shoot and the back of camera images were stunning.

Overall a very enjoyable shoot and I would happily recommend Alan and would absolutely work with him again:)

What an amazing and cool guy to be around! Alan is just soo much fun! He recently attended our trip to Sicily and depsite a serious accident on the trip, he was soo understanding and patient, and to be honest i felt hbeing around him carried me through this trip.

Alan is funny, energetic and great company. I even fell asleep on his shoulder haha! hope i didnt dribble or snore!

The whole group pulled together on this trip and Alan was abig part of this. I thank you soo much for being so patient and understanding and also for being such good company on the trip !!

Model Photography Holidays

We had the absolute honour of welcoming Alan to our Model Photography Holidays Lanzarote workshop last month (May 2024). Alan is such a lovely chap and helped to make everyone feel at ease, he was very creative with his ideas and was very respectful to our professional fashion to art nude models throughout the whole trip. He came with mood boards which was a great way to convey his photographic ideas to our models and he also came with a vast amount of props to help him create his ideas.

The most important thing for me running our European workshops here at Model Photography Holidays is that we attract really nice genuine photographers to attend our trips and Alan is clearly that person, it would be lovely to welcome Alan back to one of our trips in the future.

I met Alan on the organised models holiday to Lanzarote , what an absolute delight he was

We got along had good banter

We managed to get some super awesome shots and had fun with ideas at the same time

Alan came with what I called a bag full of goodies (props) and we managed to use a lot of them

He also had a lot of inspo to show on the kind of images he wanted to produce but with his own twist to it .

I would highly recommend Alan

And I would definitely love to work with him again in the future

I recently had my first shoot with Alan whilst I was touring in Brighton.

Alan was very professional and came along with a variety of props for us to get creative with! He had some great ideas and was happy for me to throw in a few of my own too!

From what I have seen so far, we managed to get some fantastic images and I really look forward to seeing the final results!

I had the opportunity to work with Alan as part of a group shoot at the old bakery and I’m so glad he was able to come! He was an absolute gentleman and despite the incredibly limited time, he made me feel comfortable immediately and was chatty throughout. He had an idea of what he wanted to shoot and images to go with it which meant we worked together really well! I really hope to work with him again as there was so much left we wanted to do :)

I had my first photo shoot with Alan, and despite it being my first time modelling, his clear instructions on how to pose etc. made sure that I could easily replicate the image he envisioned for me. I would happily model for him again and would highly recommend other models to do so too.

I worked with Alan for the first time at a Valentine's shoot organised by Photo Sorcerer. Alan was friendly and professional, suggesting certain poses that he wanted. The edited images look great and were sent promptly. The only problem is deciding which images to share first! I look forward to working with him again.

I got to work with Alan again at the Valentine "Kiss and Make Up" shoot and this time I was quite literally the most exposed person there. As always, Alan knew what he wanted to do and was clear in his instructions on how to achieve it. He was great with other newer models and even made a clear point of trying to find easier ways to communicate after the shoots. It might not seem like a big deal but honestly, it's good to have a clear line of communication once the shoot is done.

Alan has become a familiar face at the local group shoots, whether it be the New Forest or gaff shoots. He is often clear with what he'd like to try and quite often surprises me with some images that I didn't see coming. His greenscreen work has had some fantastic results. I hope that he continues to attend the group shoots and if you get the chance to work with him, do so without hesitation.

I had the absolute pleasure of spending a week with Alan and had a lot of fun shooting again in Portugal! Alan is super creative, and knows exactly what he wants from his shoots, as well as letting the model run freely :) I felt comfortable shooting with him always, Alan is friendly and easy to get along with too! And what can I say about his dance moves!? Brilliant :) Alan is an amazing photographer and friend. 100% recommend anyone to work with him if you get the chance, I do hope I get to in the not so distant future :)
