Ivory Flame

I had a brilliant shoot with Pavol recently. He is a true artist, so thoughtful, delicate and passionate about his ideas and concepts. I was posing for his Reflections project. We discussed everything by phone previously, he supplied all the information I needed, and had brilliant organisation and communication throughout.

The shoot itself was a lovely experience, I was warmly welcomed, had a separate model area to relax whilst Pavol finished setting up, and he had kindly provided plenty of snacks and drinks. He had beautiful, relaxing music playing for the session, which added so much to the mood, and whilst shooting the studio was darkened with only the glowing film lights illuminating the scene. It was almost like a meditation session, so calm and inspiring!

We worked through the different sets, he was mostly shooting with film, but he showed me how the images were looking on the digital camera, gave great direction and allowed me to move freely too. It was very easy going, enjoyable and creative! I can most certainly recommend Pavol to others and hope I get to work with him again in the future.

It was a true pleasure to work with such an artist on his project, Reflections. We worked really well together and got quite creative - which was not only fun, but produced some stunning images. Pavol is such a gentleman! He makes you feel really comfortable and looked after, with so many snacks that you have to take some of them home!

It was a great shoot and hopefully will be repeated!

I worked with Pavol for his artistic photography project. He is such a gentleman. Very considerate of the model. Fantastic communication before hand. He has a vision of what he wants to create so we aimed for that but was also quite flexible and fluid my with movements and shapes so it was all quite natural as well. It was a very interesting project.
