Locian

Hello!

I work under the name of Locian (pronounced "Loss-ian") and Locian Photography, taken from Olde English meaning "to look" or "to see".

I like to keep things simple - vision, pose, shoot, create!

Here on the Port of Purpleness to network and collaborate, with a small example in my portfolio of some of the styles I shoot.

I am based near Holsworthy but have all year access to a superb location near Exeter.

Day to day I specialise in commercial photography being an International freelance shooting such things as the Cannes Film Festival, PR, product photography, editorial, etc.

I hold a current CAA "PFCO" for permission to fly commercial drones and fully insured for cinematography and aerial stills. If you fancy some unimaginable aerial shots in your portfolio then I'm your man!

I also shoot weddings and contemporary portraiture along with a multitude of other photography and film related projects.

I offer TFP when I have the time to shoot or I am happy to accept the going professional photographers/ retouchers rate for my time spent on images/ ideas for your portfolio! On occasions if you have experience and a strong portfolio with specific elements that I am seeking for projects/ work then I will hire models.

I am happy to share my photoshop secrets although I may have to shoot you afterwards, if you would like to learn photography basics then ask away, if you are a MUA, stylist or fellow Tog – yes I will happily collaborate and share coffee or ale!
