Paul Shaw ABIPP, South Wales Professional Photographer

I focus on people covering Portraiture, Beauty, Boudoir, Documentary and Photojournalism.

I am a former official photographer to the UK Prime Minister and formally trained at the Defence School of Photography and an accredited Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography. 

My work is my passion and I approach each project with an upbeat and relaxed attitude which comes from serving in the British Army.  As one of only 37 professional photographers it was my job to tell the work of soldiers deployed around the world, producing news worthy packages for National & International Press and Social Media.

I grew up in Huddersfield, Yorkshire surrounded by the Pennines and Peak District where my artistic passion was sparked as a young boy by my father's own photography.  Throughout my teens I studied Art and Graphic Design before working for a mail order company photographing products for the web.

My other specialisations include Portfolios, Art Reproduction, Interior, Technical and Insurance Based Photography.
