I have been coming to pathway studios for my shoots for many years now and Colin never fails to make me smile. I feel comfortable, happy and excited with each shoot. He is very flexible, reliable and works around what you want to do. It is a pleasure to be apart of this studio. The facilities are safe and secure with access rooms to get ready etc. A fantastic studio which I will be going to be attending more!

I worked at the wonderful Pathway studios on a brief trip "Up North" whilst I was on my way "up" to attend a wedding! :) A lovely photographer "random" got in touch with me around the same time (very randomly! ;) ) and the date was set!

Pathways is a lovely space- very warm, welcoming and a professional space to use. Parking was a breeze and directions to the studio were easy and straight forward. The owner, Colin is such a fun character, I love his spirit! The makeup area and changing room downstairs was also very useful and a good space to use as a model :) I greatly enjoyed my brief visit and hope to return. Highly recommended, Helen x

I had which a wonderful time shooting at pathway studios. Colin is a very welcoming host (who makes a good coffee!)

The studio has such a comfortable and homely atmosphere, with nice backdrops, lighting and props/furniture available to use.

Will definitely be back to book this studio! Highly recommended.

Always a bonus to be able to park at a city centre studio. Whilst limited in size, studio is adequate with sufficient lighting and backdrops. Colin was very friendly and helpful and overall, a good experience - importantly, getting the images I'd planned.

I’ve worked at this studio twice now and I have to say it’s definitely my favourite studio in the north west. From the club nights/group shoots to smaller solo shoots. It’s high in professionalism and Colin (the owner) is absolutely brilliant as well as patient and helpful he really knows how to run a studio.

If you get the chance definitely work here!

Yaaaaay another great 4 days at pathway studio! It one of my favourite places to come because studio owner Colin is just so nice and helpful. I always stay with him when im on tour and always feel happy and safe and comfortable. More than than now really, its like a second home. I love working in the studio because the back drop is big enough for me and im 5ft 11! Not many studios have the room. I also love the location because its right next to a books, for make up emergencies and tesco for food. I would recommend the place to both photographers and touring models. Ill be planning my next trip down very soon.

This was my second visit to this very well equipped studio and again with AvantArtPics who had booked the studio for the day. Everything you need and more is on hand for you to use including a vast array of equipment, lighting, modifiers, backdrops and props. After a brief chat Colin left us to it although he was on hand should we have required any assistance.

Highly recommended to all photographers new or experienced.

I had another fab two days at Pathway studio recently. I love working here Colin is such a nice man and it a lovely working environment. Always laughing to be honest. Even though i was dealing with a bit of a travel nightmare Colin remained calm and cool and helped me get there in the end. Hes just a lovely person, the studio its self is fab as well. Plenty of space for me to leap and jump about. I cant wait to organise my next trip down.

Having worked at Pathway a few weeks ago running a workshop, it was a delight to return to do some shooting on my own account.

Remarkably complete as a venue, and Colin is unfailingly civilised in a very English sort of a way. The world needs more nice chaps like him. and more studios like his place.

This was my first ever one to one shoot with a model (AvantArtPics) at a studio. On arrival the owner Colin was finishing off the sanitising the studio in line with the Covid regulations. The studio was set up for us and Colin explained about all of the equipment. There is loads of studio lighting, at least nine coloured backdrops and many props. After the brief introduction Colin left us to it although his home was only a few yards away if we required any help.

I would totally recommend this studio to any new or experienced photographers and I will certainly be using this studio on many more occasions.

It was great to be in Pathway studio for the third time.

I worked with Colin two times in his studio and had a shoot with BGA photography in Pathway today. As always Colin was very welcoming and helpful.

The studio is well equipped and there are different colours backdrops and equipment.

I was absolutely delighted to come back to this gem of a studio yesterday! I’ve been coming here for years and with the current pandemic have been unable to. Colin is a dear old friend of mine and always makes sure you’re well looked after abs nothing is ever too much trouble! I’d not even left and I was already trying to book more dates in.... In fact! I’d not even started my first booking and I was planning the next tour haha! Colin has very much adhered to all Covid guidelines and all safety measures have been put in place and after each photographer the studio gets a full sanitise down! I will always highly recommend both Colin and the studio and I will always always come here! A fantastic space, fantastic owner and photographer and a great friend. Thankyou so much for having me again. I’ll be back!!! Xxxxx

There are some studios where All The Stuff Just Works. They delight me, because so many have a dodgy this or a missing modelling lamp. If you arrive and find all the equipment just so, and the owner sanitising everything, you know it's all going to work beautifully. That was my experience at Pathway: thank you, Colin!

Misuzu and I ran a 4-hour workshop for two photographers, and it was a doddle in this compact, clean and well-equipped space. Compact? Not terribly big - but, on the other hand, room to use an 85mm lens, and that'll do for me!

Definitely recommended!

Colin totally won my heart by being warm-hearted, empathetic, fun and genuine.

His professionalism together with the diplomacy of the photographers made it a experience which I am looking forward to experience again soon!

This was my first studio shoot/photography night in a very long time and what can I say it was amazing. Colin was a fabulous host very friendly alongside all the photographers.

It was very easy to find and had parking outside which is great the studio has a great set up and I really really enjoyed my night

A Different View

I normally shoot on location, but style and the weather drove me consider other options, I had great comms with Colin pre booking, and much assistance to arrange the set and lighting, a great facility, and I'm looking forward to planning a revisit.
