Himalayas, Mountain bike tour. This snap required me to stop a fast perfect downhill ride to enable a steady shot at 4790m. I completed the full ten day entire mountain bike trip, including 6 nights under Canvas, camping sometimes at 4400m or higher. A better copy of this picture was used for a travel brochure. If it helps, I'd descended -down- to the height of Mt Blanc before taking this image. Our route traveled on into the valley floor, before ascending up into the distance at heights of over 5000m. Just another day at the office. My mind boggles.
