Hi, I am a narrative figurative artist. I paint oil on canvas or board. Initially I started painting portraits, but have developed into figurative work, taking the narrative from literature, music, dance and inspirational women. It takes me somewhere between 40 and 80 hrs to finish a composition and complete about five in a year. A photo shoot is part of the creative process for me, I like to create poses and shapes, with good shadow and form so that I can create acurate anatomy to achieve my artistic intention. (I find cake helps with this process too! :) I look forward to working with you!
