Had a lovely shoot during some 121 tuition with Owen and Nicole.

The studio was lovely to work in with the added height of the ceiling really helping with some creative light positioning we were doing.

John was the perfect host and makes a lovely cup of coffee and was on hand to provide any help or assistance we needed

While the studio is a bit of a drive for me I would very much recommend it and would deff shoot here again if the opportunity arose

I had an amazing shoot with Carl Brooks in Studio de Lumiere. It s such a warm and nice place with a great atmosphere! John was very kind and helpful. He treated us with some tea and snacks, showed me my changing room, that was very comfortable and cozy. There was a lot of beautiful outfits in wardrobe, make-up and hair tools. His studio is good equipped, with nice background, mirror and everything that you can need. I was happy to work in this studio and hope to be back there soon. Thank you, John!🤗

Had another shoot at the studio as it’s the perfect size for me.

John as ever is accommodating and friendly.

John and his studio have never let me down and for that reason I’ll always be using the studio for my future shoots!

I had the pleasure to meet John and shoot at his studio.

John was a very genial host, welcoming us with coffees and a chat.

The studio is compact, perfectly adequate and well equipped.

My model had a room to base herself in for changing and makeup.

John periodically checked we had everything we need and it was going well.

We had a very successful shoot.

My one recommendation would be to get grids for the soft-boxes.

First time working in this studio, what a great studio it is, the owner is very professional and makes sure your well looked after , a very kind gentleman always puts the model first.

John is such a lovely man, very down to earth, a real gentleman and highly professional throughout. Always checking in to see if any refreshments are needed, assisting with lighting and keeping the studio very toasty which is a big winner for me!

I shot at Studio De Lemière for the first time recently and John was super helpful, getting teas and coffees for everyone throughout the day, laid back and friendly.

The studio itself is compact, which makes it quick/easy to warm up (which, as a model shooting in the nude, I love)!

There's props and backdrops, as well as robes and a changing space for models. John also allowed me to use his shower to get rid of the baby oil, which is much appreciated!

I would definitely recommend. :)

Sorry for the belated reference. Had a wonderful shot here with Owen Lloyd, for a full day. Working on burlesque, through to fantasy/art nude. John is lovely, friendly studio, who made me feel very welcome and at peace. Thankyou 🙏

INFINITY Model

Had a wonderful first shoot at John's studio, the well equipped and cosy Studio de Lumiere. Owen Lloyd hired the space for the day and we got some of our best shots in there! Although it is not the biggest of spaces, it offers everything that you may need and more. It is such a functional, well thought out space! The studio is bright, clean, well equipped and very cosy. John is very welcoming, gentle and friendly, we had a good chat and a cuppa whilst waiting for Owen to change backdrops. I would highly recommend to models and photographers alike, thank you very much John and hope to see you again soon.

First visit to Studio de Lumière and was made to feel very welcome. Excellent selection of kit available to use and a lovely intimate studio to work in. Can highly recommend it to other photographers and I look forward to revisiting in the future. At a time when many smaller studios are closing, Studio de Lumière is a great find.

Just wanted to thank John the owner for the use of his brilliant studio on my lighting workshop with model Kerry Walker and photographer Owen Lloyd.

Its a great little studio to hire for any one who needs a small homely studio I for one will be going back some time in the future. Highly recommended.

I attended Studio De Lumiere for the first time working with Owen Loyd and was pleasantly surprised.

John was very accommodating, the studio itself was lovely with plenty of space to move around in or in my case dance around in. John is very hands on throughout the whole time shooting, setting up lights, backdrops, assisting in the shoot throughout, offering hot drinks and checking in to see if everyone is okay.

Not only that but we had plenty to natter about, making the day go by quickly.

100% would recommend!

This is the second time I have worked at this lovely studio and it's one of my favourites to shoot at.

The studio is built in the garden of the lovely Johns house and he is the best host, his beautiful home is spotless and warm and he is very welcoming offering separate rooms to do hair makeup and changing in.

John provided plenty of hot drinks and lovely conversation over lunch, he is the nicest bloke and I've definitely made a lovely new friend.

The studio itself is great, clean spacious and very functional with plenty of lighting and props.

The studio was kept warm throughout the day and has a comfy seating area to use between sets.

I worked at Studio de Lumiere for the first time recently. It's a lovely cosy studio with all you need, different backgrounds and a smoke machine too!

John is very friendly and helpful, and he made me and the photographer feel very welcome.

I'd happily shoot here again sometime. Recommended. :)

Lovely little studio with good kit, just what I needed for a portrait shoot. Nice and warm, parking right outside and easy access.

Owner John is a great host, making sure you have everything you need set up then keeping you supplied with drinks and assistance whenever required. This was a short notice shoot arranged easily and painlessly. Would gladly return if I’m in the area again.

I modelled at Johns studio for a full day on Saturday . The studio has a homely relaxed aura , I instantly felt at home and chilled and John is welcoming and lovely . You can eat your lunch in the separate kitchen and have brews and ample space to change and he even has robes and outfits . John has really thought about the models needs and you can really tell. I really hope to visit this studio again soon

Shot at John’s studio today and I had a great time, John made me feel very welcomed, offered food and drinks throughout the day. John was on hand to assist the photographer etc and did a very good job.

I’d definitely recommend John and his studio to anybody, some beautiful images came from today and I’d absolutely return to shoot again
