Nicolas Granger-Taylor

I am a painter of portraits, nudes and still lifes in the academic tradition. I work in oil on canvas, gouache, and pencil. I work primarily from life, augmented by photographs and drawings, in my studio at home in Balham, SW London.

I prefer models with a "natural" look: voluptuous or slim, with natural skin tones, and without body modifications (one or two small tattoos or removable piercings aren't a problem).

Please note: The female figure - nude or clothed - is my primary subject. With the exception of commissioned portraits and the occasional portrait of a friend, I am not currently looking to work with male models.
