Camelot Photography

Another shoot in our ongoing series, this time in a former stately home near Burnley.

We had a good idea what we were looking to shoot and it more or less went to plan. Comms as always were great and Naomi is getting better with every shoot.

A break now for a few weeks (I'll catch up with edits) and then pick up as our project draws to a close. I hope we will continue to shoot together afterwards though.

Another on our ongoing series of shoots this time at Parktannas Retro Yard. We had great pre-shoot comms and we had an idea of what we hoped to shoot although we knew we needed to be flexible as neither of us had been there before. Shoot worked out great and we got some of the best images we've had yet. Next shoot is in 4 days time so of course it's a recommendation from me.

Yesterday was shoot number 6 in our (loose) 12 month project and probably the most productive yet.

In the 9 months since we first shot, Naomi has come such a long way, although her work still has a feel of youth and learning to it which is lovely. Her confidence in front of the camera continues to grow with each shoot.

We have our next 2 shoots booked in already so it goes without saying that I recommend working with Naomi if the opportunity arises.

Shoot Number 5 in what was/is a 12 month project which like most things got delayed due to Covid.

This time we were shooting low key portraits in a studio, using speedlights rather than studio strobes, and the session was excellent.

Naomi understood the brief and came ready and raring to go. First look at the images has left me very happy as they will "polish up" exactly as intended.

For various reasons, the project goes on hold again for a couple of months before coming back with a vengeance in the summer.

Obviously a recommendation from me.

I had my first shoot with Naomi today. Naomi is a fabulous young lady destined to go far in her modelling career.

She turned up well prepared for the shoot based on excellent pre-shoot communications.

Naomi works tirelessly throughout and needs no direction. She is willing to try out new ideas and happy to go along with all (reasonable) ideas.

I do hope that we can shoot again before too long, and I would highly recommend her.

I was keen to book a shoot with Naomi when she arrived on the local modeling pages, she has a fantastic natural look.

Our shoot was arranged with a colorful street theme at the local `pinball park’

I felt very comfortable working with Naomi as she got straight into posing. She took direction with ease and even got her feet wet when climbing into a stream to stand on rock.

I look forward to arranging another shoot with Naomi again soon.

Yesterday was shoot number 4 which due to Covid rules was on location. A dip in temperatures meant we had to change the look of the shoot but we still managed some good shots in what was a relatively short shoot due to the cold.

Naomi communicates well and is developing hey craft with each shoot.

We have another 4 or 5 dates in the diary so definitely a recommendation from me.

Had first shoot with Naomi on 31st March 2021, only my second shoot after the Covid-inspired 2021 lockdown. Pre-shoot communications were good and we all met at the right place and the right time. Great shoot, went onto Sheffield's Kelham Island and shot around the Industrial Museum area, using their large external industrial machinery exhibits as props and backdrops for a series of shoots. Naomi posed well without direction, and was game for climbing up on some the machinery exhibits and also game for climbing down into what looked like industrial machinery crankshaft sump chambers. Shot at Kelham Island initially then took a short lunch break before shooting in the grounds of St.Phillips Cathedral after an outfit change, finally did a few random 'about town' shoots as we returned to our vehicles. Naomi was accompanied by father Jamie acting as chaperone, nice guy, played the role very well in my view, there with encouragement and support when necessary, but did not intrude in the developing tog-model relationship in any way. Also there when the light stands needed a steadying hand in the slight breeze ! Weather was kind, we got some great shots un my view, in particular with backlighting using the sun near the end of the Kelham Island sequence. Great shoot, some great images, would have no hesitation in shooting with Naomi again, highly recommended.

I had my second shoot with Naomi last week in Sheffield city centre. Pre shoot communications were good and Naomi turned up on time and well prepared. Naomi is easy to work with and very photogenic. I’m hoping to shoot with her again when the warmer weather / lighter nights kick in. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Naomi to any photographer or MUA, So if you get the chance to shoot with her - go for it, you won’t be disappointed

The Brilliant Naomi responded to us, for a comedy Sketch about Sharks. Due to lock down, we required actors to be able to shoot remotely. And this was filming! Naomi, was polite, and quick. She needed little direction. We explained what we are a looking for, she didn't need to ask questions. And she delivered perfectly. And Her acting although short was on spot and fantastic. Exactly what we were looking for. Hopefully we can work with this rising star in the future!

I found Naomi in Instagram and started to talk about a future shoot. We kept in touch and agreed on date and times. She came to my studio on a Sunday morning and was very punctual. The shooting itself went very well and I was very please with the way she was posing. She brought a couple of dresses with her and we created a lot of beautiful images. Would highly recommend her for a shooting.

Our 2nd shoot in 3 days and this one was a corker. It had been some weeks in the planning and it was worth th wait. We knew exactly what we were looking to shoot and for me we achieved all we set out to do. As with previous shoots, comms were excellent and Naomi came well prepared, with great assistance from her Mum and Dad as usual.

I am already looking forward to the shoots we have in the diary in 2021, the plans for which are already under discussion.
