Alison Raven

I work as a professional model and freelance makeup artist & hair stylist. I'm represented by Ugly/Rage Models and am a spokesmodel for Ladies of Metal. My work is published internationally and I've shot 27 magazine features and 7 covers (so far!) I've also filmed with and been featured on Channel 4, Sky tv and Comedy Central, and my other clients include Huawei mobile phones & Husqvarna motorbikes. I have modelled for a number of different brands including Alchemy Gothic Jewellery, Drown Soda Jewellery, Half Mast Clothing, Honour Latex, Vanity Exposed Clothing, Operatorium Jewellery & Accessories, Jane Nevermore designs, Karen Bones Art, Little Red Bo Jewellery. I've also worked catwalk shows at the Great British Tattoo Show 2014, and photo booth modelling at other Skin Deep conventions, as well as local shows and other promotional work. I was a finalist in Miss Pinup UK 2014 and winner of the audience vote category at Lady Ink UK 2015. I have been published by the following magazines:

I currently have long, bright pink hair (although I don't plan on changing this any time soon!), 18 piercings inc. 5 facial piercings - cheeks, septum and 2 in my lower lip - and I enjoy getting tattooed on a regular basis. I enjoy wearing alternative and retro style fashions - a lot of my inspiration comes from trends from the 1920s - 60s. Working as a makeup artist also allows me to have a more holistic contribution to every job I take on, as I have a good understanding of how every part of the process works when it comes to performances and photoshoots.

I am only able to accept paid work as I'm self employed full time, my standard rates are £40p/h plus travel expenses or £150 for a half day plus travel or £300 plus travel for a full day (full day is based on 10am - 6pm shoot, studio day or event). Rates may change depending on the requirements for each individual job - if you have any questions, please drop me a message.
