Another brilliant portrait drawing session at Keighley Creative's Tuesday afternoon Life and Portrait Group with Mick.

Such a gentleman and great to draw. Mick sat still but completely relaxed for us and came with two wonderful hats to enhance the drawing. He is really flexible and dead easy to work with as he really knows what he is doing.

As always he turned up well before time, was great with communications before and during and was wonderful to work with. I'm looking forward to him coming back again.

Two hour life drawing session for a life drawing group.

Comms perfect all the way through, Mick arrived on time and fully prepared for the session. He was able to hold a pose in a variety of positions (standing sitting and lying) with no difficulty for up to 20 minutes.

Great model and thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous two hour portrait drawing session with Mick today.

This is the second time that I have worked with him. Last time was life drawing.

Great clear communications prior to the session. Turned up on time and was a perfect model throughout. He is polite, courteous, easy to work with and can follow instructions about what you want him to do.

All in all a great model and thoroughly recommended.

Another interesting and entertaining shoot with Mick yesterday.

After a quick chat we got into the shoot and rattled off a number of lighting and costume changes all of which Mick handled with ease. Always a bonus for the photographer when the model understands what you are trying to achieve and produces the look you are after.

As in our previous encounter Mick hit the mark every time, first rate model and interesting subject. Highly recommended.

Had another great shoot with Mick yesterday. Although we have worked together on several occasions now, this was the first time back in the studio for some time. We planned an opportunity to experiment with lights, poses and atmosphere.

As usual, pre-comms were great and we both had a good idea of what we were trying to achieve before we started. Mick arrived on time and was ready to proceed from the very beginning. Due to our ideas of experimenting, this shoot involved more collaboration than usual and a slower pace of shooting whilst we discussed ideas etc. Mick played his full part in this and worked hard to achieve particular poses etc.

We achieved some great results and set up further ideas for shooting again on location. Mick is a great guy to work with and I, again, wholeheartedly recommend him to other photographers.

I had another fantastic shoot with Mick today, the location was again the abandoned brickworks which is full of character and superb graffiti, and Mick came up with more brilliant and professional art nude poses, another brilliant shoot, thank you Mick.

I had a fantastic shoot with Mick today, I was amazed to see our first shoot was 4 years ago, after today I hope to work regularly with this super friendly guy.

The location was an abandoned brickworks which is full of character and superb graffiti, a great settings for Mick who is friendly and laid back but with a very professional attitude to his work as he has great natural modeling ability needing little direction which makes him a great pleasure to work with.

We are planning more shoots for the future and the sooner the better, Thanks Mick for a great day.

Mick arrive bang on time with good communication before and during our shoot.

As a model Mick was superb soon got in to the swing of things and we had a very productive couple of hours. I can not recommend Mick highly enough he gave me everything I asked for and more. Look forward to doing it again soon.

I have been shooting with Mick on a regular basis for sometime now and that is a recommendation in itself!

His communication is always excellent. He always arrives on time and comes prepared with planned outfits and more besides. He has his own ideas and I have mine which we are able to blend together to produce quality images. He is able to work without direction but also willing to take my ideas on board too.

We have worked on location and in studios, nothing phases him and he stays relaxed and on task at all times. He is always a pleasure to work with.

Did my first solo studio shoot today with Mick, and I couldn't have found a better model. Really helpful in every way, very professional, relaxed and natural. I'll definitely be shooting Mick again, but next time I'll get the lighting right!

Mick came to have his first life modelling session and training this morning.

Comms were great prior to the modelling.

Turned up on time, really polite and cooperative man who was a great model. He can hold a pose without difficulty - we only pushed it to 30 minutes but this went really well.

Thoroughly recommended to artists as he searches for life modelling opportunities.

Finally, after months of waiting, our shoot took place! We had a two part shoot, spending the morning outdoors followed by a studio session in the afternoon. Mick threw himself into the shoot with great enthusiasm which made my job that much easier. That was excellent and a major contributor to the shoots success. Mick followed guidance very well, and also made suggestions of his own to enhance the pose which in turn led to some great results. Pre-shoot comms were great as were our meeting arrangements. I certainly recommend Mick for a very professional, well organised, great fun shoot.

Mick booked another shoot with me at Crossroads Studio today.

Mick is very easy to get along with and loves modelling. He puts in plenty of energy and thought to the shoots.

Mick doesn’t need any direction and poses effortlessly. He has great ideas for the shoot but is also more than happy to work with the photographer’s ideas.

A truly pleasant gentleman and I have no problem in recommending him to other photographers.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mick on his first location, nude shoot in a discreet area in the dales. He is totally confident in his own skin and this made for a great relaxed and fun shoot. His pre-comms were excellent as was the banter during the shoot. He is able to pose himself but also to take direction. He was more than happy with the results and we are already planning a further shoot. Mick and I have chatted on and off for ages and came to the conclusion we needed to try a distance shoot (sticking to the rules) in a studio as the selfies were becoming bit tedious! So glad we met up as we alternated the role of photographer and model and came up with some nice shots. A true gent to work with! Thank you!

Crossroads Studio

Mick hired the studio for a shoot he had arranged today.

He arrived here in good time for his booking which is always appreciated.

He is very easy to get along with and easy to talk to.

He had no problems setting up his shoot and obviously knows his way around his equipment and how to achieve the results he wants.

Mick was also modelling for another photographer who attended with him.

Although not present during the shoot his photographer was more than happy with the results of the shoot.

Mick was very respectful of the studio equipment which again was highly appreciated.

My first shoot with Mick.

It was a really good shoot with Mick yesterday. He was very welcoming, relaxed and had the coffee ready.

He has a very good compact studio with great lighting, props and good natural light. He was very easy to work with suggesting poses and working together on others.

We then reversed roles and working together got got some more great shots.

Between us we got some good work done and I thoroughly enjoyed the morning. Look forward to working with him again.

I'd been wanting to work with Mick for a while and we finally arranged this shoot at his studio. He met me at the station, took me to the studio space and everything went well. Very easy guy to get on with and work with, flexible, with great concentration. A stimulating and enjoyable session. We are already planning another shoot around Victorian Huddersfield.

Myself and Mick have worked together for two photo shoots to date. Arrangements are great with plans on how we both want the images to look. I'd recommend Mick to everyone who is looking for a male model. Mick has black coffee with one sugar waiting for when he arrives at my home studio. During shoots Mick is easy to talk with and will take instructions as you see he enjoys being in front of the camera which makes it a pleasure to work with him.
