Worked at Montrose for an event with 3 models, darci,Elle and georgia, I was blown away! Sophia was amazing and managed to have a little chat between shoots whilst she was editing. This studio is insane for the price. If I lived nearer I would be there every day 😂. I also looked at Sophia's work after and will look to work with her as a model. Super talented creative 😊

I attended a studio event at Montrose with a number of brilliant models.

Montrose is an incredibly good studio.

Plenty of sets which gives no end of possibilities, even when you have three models working with separate photographers at the same time.

Staff are friendly and helpful

More than happy to recommend Montrose and looking forward to going again

This was my third shoot at Montrose Studios with this being a Rockabilly Pin Up Tutorial. Very well organised with 2 professional models: pin up model and studio owner Sophia Montrose and Millie Darling, who is quite new to modelling. Informative guidance on how models should pose and show facial expressions was given by resident photographer Phil Mairs. Guidance on studio lighting and camera settings was also given. I managed to get some excellent shots from both models. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait for my next shoot.

This was my second shoot at Montrose Studios within the last couple of months. The first shoot being a Glamour Workshop and the second being a Pinup/Burlesque Tutorial. Both workshops were very well organised with professional models. Studio owner Sophia and resident photographer were very hospitable and welcoming. Montrose Studios is an excellent studio with a wide range of sets. I would definitely recommend Montrose Studios and are looking forward to the next workshop.

I simply love Montrose, all you need is there and so much more. This studio is massive with loads of different sets to choose from. Had another fantastic shoot there. Sophia's so helpful, even helped us work out the lift.

It's a fab space and run really well, constantly evolving so a huge thanks to Sophia as usual - just go shoot there, you won't be disappointed

Previously attended the studio for a group shoot but this is the first time booking for one of my own.

The studio is huge and has loads of sets covering just about anything you could need for your shoot.

Loads of lights and modifiers available including some LED ones, has plenty of natural light available as well.

I had booked everything through Sophia and she met me in the morning, got me sorted and checked if I had everything I needed.

Very happy with the images I got and am sure I will use it again in the future :)

This was my first visit to this fantastic studio, but definitely won't be my last! Sophia met me and showed me around the studio before the first photographer arrived, and then was happy to leave us to it, or to offer assistance whenever necessary.

The studio itself is incredibly versatile with many sets throughout, there really are too many to get through in one day! I really enjoyed the shoot there and I'm already excited to return.

Sophia was incredibly understanding when I had a technical glitch during a remote shoot, forcing me to stop the shoot day early - they were ever so accommodating which I seriously appreciated!

All in all a very well equipped studio with thoughtful owners. Thankyou so much for a fantastic shoot!

Another fab shoot at Montrose. This time i had a full day booked with two models. There are so many great sets at the studio and Sophia is always working, changing things around so you always fin something new each time I go. It was great to get some fab natural light from the windows as well.

Even with a full day visit we didn't use all the sets. A great studio.

This was my fourth time at the studio and it continues to be one of the most fun studios to work in. It's a real playground for photographers and there's always something else to try out. You only ever scratch the surface of what's possible at the studio. Sophia's always lovely and helpful making it a great experience every time.

This was my first visit to Montrose studios which I booked for a group event. We were greeted by studio manager Sophia, herself a model and the studio has clearly been designed to make the space model friendly with an amazing changing area with lighted makeup mirrors, rails for clothing including clothing which can be used for shoots.

Sophia was very welcoming and gave us a brief tour of this incredible facility. I lost track of just how many sets they have but we initially booked 3 hours and stayed for 7. If you are looking for themed photo shoots this is now my go to studio.

You need to go and visit this studio, the sets will always be rotated as time moved on so there will always be something new.

Had a fantastic group shoot on Saturday with Phil,Sophia and Lilly.

The studio has been on my list for some time due to my love of vintage, pin up work.

Brilliant choice of set's, lighting and really friendly welcome.

Made me feel at home and relax on the day.

Both models on the day where great very chatty and friendly and of course Looked amazing with there vintage pin-up looks and outfits.

I will definitely be back with a head full of ideas now I have seen the set ups.

Big thanks to Phil for his hard work and very helpful and friendly man.

Awesome studio with loads of sets to suit everyone and I love the Retro 60s themes you have, Some are good with natural light the others will need lights which Montrose have with abundance,

Help is on hand with advice if you need it other wise your left to get on with it.

Looking forward to my next visit in May.

Excellent studio with a variety of excellent sets to choose from. I could have stopped here all day. Sophia was great and very helpful and all of my party were impressed with the place. Would highly recommend. Many thanks 👍

I booked montrose for a group of my cosplay friends. There was about 20 of us togs/cosplayers and honestly the day went so quick but with so many sets, props and even the wardrobe area I can not fault this venue.

We are already discussing future opportunities here as the versatility and space is honestly unbeatable in this region.

Had another shoot at Montrose Studio on Sunday with Ashleigh Rae. This studio has so much character, many different sets and Sophie is such a great help. lots of great natural light through large windows if that is what you want but studio lights everywhere if not. Would recommend this studio to any photographer.

Second shoot at Montrose , still my favourite! Sophie is lovely and the dressing table is amazing love getting ready with the mirrored lights . The sets are amazing! Lots of props and even has a clothing rail with a few pieces of clothing. Recommend 100% !

A Shot in the Dark

It's been a few years since I've been to Montrose and wow! The studio is looking amazing!!

The owner honestly couldn't more helpful and friendly, I was delighted to arrive and lights were already set up for the kitchen set! We all felt really welcome.

The sets are such high quality, I can't think of anywhere else like it. We booked for 5 hours and could have easily spent 5 more there!

There's a great range of lighting, so you're never stepping on another photographers toes with that, or with space if you're sharing.

I love that there's a great make-up area and secure changing area for models too.

I think it's great value for the quality, and I'm already planning my next shoot!!
